« Splendid "oasis" beyond Bocas D-T. Host Steve was ever helpful. Very grateful for excellent AC & purified water literally on-tap. We have 270-deg seaviews at home, so enjoyed the shady palms and semi-jungle setting as a welcome change. Inside & outside space was enormous - for only 2 people. Word of warning - parts of the mapped "Carnero Trail" are impassable, particularly after heavy rain, so we were more reliant on water taxis around Carenero than we expected. OVERALL AN EXCELLENT 7 DAYS! »

« The beautiful view was was breathtaking! Mt Baru was spectacular & put on a good show with play of sunshine & clouds. All amenities provided. Hot tub was such a blessing after exploring area. Driveway a bit steep but ample parking at house. Perfect place for the 8 of us. Room to be together & room to get away! Did I mention the bird watching! WOW! »

« It was a beautiful home in the middle of nowhere. It is an 1 hour flight from Panama City and about an hour drive from Airport David. Once you are there it is so peaceful and self contained. Right on the beach of the Pacific Ocean and a cute little beach club down the road. Great set up for BBQ and swimming in the pool. Perfect for a quiet getaway with family. The host was helpful and quick to respond. My boys learned how to surf here. »

« Alex, the property manager was fantastic. I recommend getting What’s App and he will be very responsive. He lives upstairs. There are 3 bedrooms with 3 baths. 2 of the baths are down an outdoor breezeway but very close. Great patio area. BBS Bar next door has great good food and is over the ocean, wonderful! Good beach close. Walk around island is interesting as you get to see the locals who are very friendly. Bring bug spray! »

« This stay was amazing! Jane (host) was incredibly communicative and so welcoming. The house is even more beautiful in person, the pictures don’t do it justice. We snorkeled and SUP boarded and had such a wonderful time. The home provided EVERYTHING we needed. We sure wish we could’ve stayed longer and hope to come back one day! »

« Overall, we had a great stay. Great breeze off the ocean. Bombi was a great caretaker and arranged for anything we needed. Especially helpful arranging our trip back to Panama City. I slipped on the steps down to the deck the day before our departure and broke my leg. We had taxis waiting for us the whole way. Even got several of the island men to carry me down to dock to water taxi. Be aware that wood get very saturated when it rains and have moss on them so very slick! We would definitely go...

« Our stay at Urraca Private Island is the most awesome, memorable lodging experience we’ve had (and that’s saying a lot, because we travel frequently and have had many fantastic experiences).
