The area mixes long-term residents with transient student renters; quieter residential streets sit a short drive or bike ride from the campus entertainment and dining corridors.

Driving is the most convenient option for most visitors—short local trips use Wellborn Road, Texas Avenue and University Drive. Street parking and small residential driveways are common.
