« This cottage was an unexpected gem! We have traveled all over the country for baseball with our family of 5. Hotels are a challenge because one child is stuck on a couch or blowup mattress. This cottage had 4 beds upstairs that were very comfortable for the kids. We were able to cook breakfast for ourselves in the full kitchen. « This has to be one of the cutest cottages in Texas. Came in for the EEI truck show. We had the best time ever and staying at this cottage put the cherry on top. Beautiful place. We were coming to town for a wedding and I was tasked with providing lunch for the wedding party Our host was so accommodating by letting me use coolers and making sure the kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils I needed. « We came to visit relatives for a few days. The Ducks Nest was a perfect place to stay. We loved the view of the lake and drank morning coffee on the deck every morning. Watching turtles, ducks and other wildlife was a treat. Plenty of room and very clean. The Host was always available with suggestions for places to visit and eat. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend others to stay. »

« Just the right size for my husband and I. Came in for the art show in bryan. Price was very reasonable and we asked for an extended checkout time, which they happily accommodated. Bed was comfortable and AC worked nicely as i do like it cold at night. Area is very quiet and peaceful and close to A&M but away from the congestion. Would definitely recommend. »

« My family of 5 stayed here while my husband took at class at Rellis. Perfect distance from the school & food. My kids loved the house, plenty of beds. Very comfy. Only complaint would be the washer it shakes the whole house when it runs lol. Other than that it’s perfect »

Nice place to stay, even for an extended time
"A nice place to stay, even for a an extended period. I've been in there for three weeks. The room is confortable and the hotel team is eager to help and very efficient whether it is to repair something or to book one more night. The pool is nice and easily accessible. Around the hotel, there is plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and drive-in. There is food and useful stuff that can be bought at the lobby. Easy access to the Texas A&M Campus thanks to a bus (26) that comes right next to the hotel."
