« We enjoyed staying at KOA in Coinjock. The location is beautiful, the campground is nicely laid out, and our pet friendly cottage was clean and spacious! The only recommendation I would have is to call the campground to verify which amenities will be open and operational, and verify the pet fee. Our reservation said the pet fee would be $10/night, but we were charged $50. I think they should have honored our reservation, but the lady at the front desk said she couldn't do anything about it....

« My husband and I and our dog Luna stayed here for the weekend. It was the perfect location for what we wanted-a relaxing, comfortable, get-away weekend. We loved being in this part of Corolla, especially in the off-season. No traffic, easy access to uncrowded beaches for driving and hanging out. The cottage's location near Historic Corolla Park was perfect. We could walk across the road to see the sunset on the sound as well as climb the lighthouse for amazing views. A cute shopping/restaurant...

« The property was great. The grandkids enjoyed the canoe, kayak, and fishing from the pier. We loved the magnificent view at night of the stars, not diminished by light pollution. Sitting on the swing watching the sunrise was breath taking. »

« Lovely vintage cottage with little touches that make you enjoy the stay. Like a dark washcloth that says Makeup!, paper cups in bathroom and coffee pods, sugar and creamers. Everything you need. One suggestion, driveway is on a curve and easy to miss! May want to slow way down at you pass 830 mailbox as 838 is coming soon! »

« So close to the beachfront and still private enough to feel like you have the canal to yourself! It’s quite a ways up the beach from Corolla, so be prepared to air down your tires and ride for about 30-40 minutes once you leave the pavement. The home is well-equipped for pretty much any activity you can think of, from cornhole to grilling to lounging in a swing with drink in hand! The kitchen is fully stocked and the outside seating is impeccable, so many options. You can also explore the canal...

« We had a great time at the KOA cabin. The property could have used a bit more cleaning prior to check-in, but nothing that was unmanageable! The location was beautiful and peaceful! Will be going back! »

« Beautiful views, amazing sunsets, plenty of water front activities. In the mornings we watched the osprey and heron fishing and in the evenings the otters playing off the docks. An easy 15 minute walk to the oceanfront. A beautiful quiet location to hang out or have easy access to all of the amenities in Virginia Beach. »

« We’d stayed at this property in the past, and on our return trip it did not disappoint. Lovely location, easy walk to an uncrowded beach. The amenities were super, particularly the pool and hot tub. The only difficulty was having to leave at the end of our week’s stay. »

« This is a very nice place. It is very well appointed and spacious. The home is as represented and has alot of nice extras like a pool and a hot tub. It is in a good location and easy walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Be aware that you have to coordinate linens and all the minor supplies for the house. You will also have a check out list of cleaning items. Overall, a great place! »

« The management company, particularly Barbara, was very helpful and prompt in replying to all questions. Five stars for this! The house was spacious and accommodated our group of 13; however, the house is in need of updating. The dryer went out during our stay but was repaired but all appliances need to be upgraded. Pressure washing is needed for the exterior as we were unable to use the outdoor furniture due to the bird droppings and spider webs. Carpet is also in need of replacement. Although...
