Wow! Hands down the most wonderfully appointed vacation rental we have stayed in. Andy was an amazing host who greeted us in person and wanted nothing more than to make sure our stay was comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with wonderful snacks and drinks and the entire space was clean and very well maintained. Location could not have been better with easy access to the lake and downtown yet set in a nice quiet neighborhood. We will not hesitate to stay here again.Thanks for the wonderful stay, Andy & Ren!

A wonderful get-away in Coeur d'Alene

This property was one of the best I've stayed in. The host was fabulous with some nice welcome touches, easy communication and a few extra treats. The accommodation themselves were top-notch. From the main floor apartment to the smaller, studio size upstairs, the finishes, kitchen appointments, furniture, etc. were all first class and very tastefully done. We were two couples and it was the perfect setting. It was also only a 10 min walk to downtown restaurants, parks and the water. If/when we visit CDA again, this property is at the top of our list. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Exceptional!

We have stayed at numerous VRBOs across the US, as well as several in England. Fort Grounds was hands down the nicest accommodations we have ever had the privilege to use. The home is beautifully furnished; exceptionally clean; located in a quaint neighborhood within walking distance to the lake, resort, lots of shopping, restaurants, etc. The host, Ren, is amazing- she went above and beyond, stocking the fridge and cupboards with more than just essentials and treated us to the best home-baked sourdough bread we have ever had. She was very responsive and helpful, not to mention a joy to talk with and a wealth of knowledge. I can’t wait to go back! Thank you Ren for an amazing experience!

Property was nice, new, and well maintained. Nice quiet neighborhood within walking distance of almost anywhere you want to go while visiting. Hosts were super nice people and even brought us a fresh loaf of homemade sour dough bread. If you're looking to spend some time in CDA, this property makes a perfect temporary headquarters for your adventures.

This property was absolutely delightful! It was clean, modern, and beautiful! I really enjoyed staying at Ren's place! She went above and beyond by stocking the fridge and pantry with complimentary food and beverages. This was our first visit to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and this house was definitely a high point. The town is beautiful with lots of great spots to eat with friendly people and fun activities. Ren and Andy (our hosts) were the absolute perfect combo of warm and welcoming. The bed was super comfy with soft sheets, the kitchen had everything in it...it was even stocked with wine, cheese, crackers, chocolate, and granola for breakfast. The bathroom was immaculate, and the neighborhood was the perfect place to walk...houses were decorated for Halloween and the lake was gorgeous at sunset. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Relaxing Anniversary Weekend

This guest house is the BEST property we have ever stayed at! The host Ren was quick to communicate before our stay and then welcomed us to show us around when we arrived. The home is very cute and super clean. The bed and linens are so comfortable. The home is located just a couple of blocks from the city park and lake. It is also very close to the Centennial Trail and it was so nice to run around the neighborhood in the mornings. Ren gave us several good restaurant recommendations and there are several to chose from within walking distance. Ren even had snacks available in the unit which was so very thoughtful. I highly recommend staying at this delightful guest house and we can't wait to return!
