A three-bedroom bungalow in the heart of Coeur d'Alene, half a mile from Sherman Avenue and a short drive from the lake. The fenced backyard has a hot tub and outdoor seating; a BBQ grill sits just off the kitchen door. Inside, a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and sleeping for eight across one king, one queen, three twins, and a sofa. Boat and RV parking, pets welcome. Five minutes to City Beach, twenty-five to Silverwood, forty to Spokane.
We are experienced local hosts dedicated to providing an exceptional stay. Our primary mode of interaction is through messaging and phone, and we're responsive and easy to reach. Whether you need a local recommendation, help with the property, or just a quick answer, we've got you covered.
The home sits on a quiet residential block on the east side of downtown Coeur d'Alene, the kind of neighborhood where the streets are tree-lined and the next stop sign is a leisurely walk away. The back of the property borders a school, so expect some daytime noise on weekdays during the school year.
Sherman Avenue, with its restaurants, coffee roasters, breweries, and shops, is about half a mile down the road. Lake Coeur d'Alene and City Beach are a short drive from the front door, and Tubbs Hill, with its lakeshore loop trail, is just beyond.
When you do feel like driving, you're well placed for the rest of the region. Silverwood Theme Park is about twenty-five minutes north, Post Falls is twenty minutes west, and Spokane is around forty minutes west. The interstate is a five-minute drive, so day trips to anywhere in North Idaho or the Spokane Valley are easy.
Guests have full access to the entire home, the fenced backyard with hot tub, and all the parking out front. A few notes:
• There is a patch of grass that has been seeded in the back yard and is still growing in - please do not walk on this section of grass for now.
• The garage is off limits for guests and is reserved for storage and maintenance supplies.
• Parking is generous. The driveway is oversized with plenty of room for multiple vehicles, including a boat or an RV, and there is street parking right out front. Bring whatever you want to bring.
• A supply closet off the upstairs kitchen is reserved for supply storage and is locked. Everything you need for your stay is already set up inside the house.
• The backyard is fully fenced, which gives kids and pets room to roam without anyone wandering off. Please supervise children near the hot tub at all times.
• The fence at the back of the yard borders a school. During the school year, you may hear kids playing outside during the day on weekdays. Evenings, weekends, and summer stays are quiet.
• Check-in is contactless via a smart lock on the front door. The code is sent the day of arrival.
The home is a 1,700 sq ft two-story bungalow with three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, sleeping up to eight. The layout flows easily from the living room into a full kitchen with everything you need to cook a real meal, including dishwasher, full-size fridge, oven and stove, microwave, coffee bar, and a dining table that seats the group.
Three bedrooms sleep the core of the group: a king upstairs, and two bedrooms downstairs with one queen and twin, and two twins respectively. Upstairs there is also a bonus room with a closet, TV, and sofa, great for a solo traveler or a child who wants their own space. A pack n' play and high chair are on hand for families traveling with little ones.
Everyday essentials are stocked: in-unit washer and dryer, hangers, hair dryer, iron, towels and linens, and a TV in the living room. Every bedroom has closet and storage space so everyone can actually unpack.
Out back, the fully fenced yard gives kids and dogs a safe space to roam, with the hot tub and outdoor seating right off the back door. Just outside the kitchen door, a BBQ grill with utensils is set up for easy outdoor cooking.
A beach kit is kept downstairs and is yours to borrow for trips to the lake. Out front, the driveway is oversized with room for multiple vehicles, including a boat or RV, plus street parking right out front. Parking will not be a problem.
A personal vehicle is recommended for this property. Uber and Lyft are available in the greater Coeur d'Alene area. Downtown Coeur d'Alene and the lake are walkable from the front door. The home is approximately a forty-minute drive from Spokane International Airport.
Your stay is hosted by Village Collective, a local, family-run team based in Coeur d'Alene. We've been hosting in North Idaho since 2017 and care for every home like it's our own, because we're owners too. You'll receive a detailed guidebook pointing you toward the local makers, growers, coffee roasters, and neighborhood spots we actually love. If anything comes up during your stay, we're always just a message away.
Late check-outs are typically not available. Our local cleaning team runs a tight schedule between stays, and shifting a cleaning window is genuinely difficult for them. Honoring the 10:00 AM time keeps the home ready and welcoming for the next guests.
We're genuinely dog friendly, not just dog tolerant. We take up to three dogs, which is rare around here, because we know how hard it is to find somewhere that will take the whole family.
The pet fee is $100 per dog. It pays for the deep clean afterward, which is what lets us welcome your dog and still hand the house to a guest with allergies the following week.
Two things we ask. Dogs off the beds and upholstered furniture, we can launder bedding but we can't launder a mattress. And no dogs left loose in the house alone, because unfamiliar rooms make even well behaved dogs anxious. Bring a crate if yours will be on their own at any point.

Les points forts : Propreté, arrivée, communication, emplacement et exactitude de l’annonce
We had a great stay at this property to celebrate a birthday and anniversary. All of the small details and upgrade really made our stay outstanding. The pet friendly host and Hot Tub were exactly what we were looking for. The location was walkable to midtown and a quick uber ride to downtown. The house was beautiful and host were very responsive.
