Downtown Loft- Great downtown Location with Rooftop Deck and Modern Interior

Welcome to Downtown Loft! This modern industrial style penthouse is located in historic downtown Cody, Wyoming just across the street from the Irma Hotel. This space is is a favorite for guests wanting to experience modern style in a classic Western town. From the loft, you can easily walk to restaurants, nightlife, live music, museums and other attractions just outside the front door. Or make this your basecamp for adventures to Yellowstone, world-class fly fishing and other outdoor excursions.
Downtown Loft has 3 stories with a rooftop deck. The main level features large, privacy view windows and gorgeous original brick walls. A fully equipped kitchen with floor to ceiling cabinets and quartz countertops makes preparing meals a pleasure. Relax in the living area with large smart television and gather at the dining table. A half bath is also hidden behind a built-in bookcase on this level.

The second level includes the two bedrooms. The main suite features a king size bed with views overlooking the Irma Hotel. Large closet space will keep your travel wardrobe organized. The main bathroom features a double vanity and walk-in tile shower. The second bedroom is hidden behind a built-in bookcase and features a queen size bed, also with great views overlooking the Irma Hotel. There is a full-size guest bathroom with tiled shower/tub and convenient laundry closet on the second level.

Up the spiral staircase, you will find the third level loft. This area includes a wet bar and glass garage door that opens to the rooftop deck. Outside on the deck, you will find a gas grill and plenty of seating. The daytime views overlooking the historic downtown, incredible Wyoming sunset views in the evenings and star filled nights make this deck something dreams are made of! Around the side of the loft, you can take in one of Cody's best murals, showcasing the outlaw spirit that is still very much alive in Cody.

There are actually 5 museums here and while Buffalo Bill's story is the star attraction, the Yellowstone Natural History museum was also really interesting. I was so impressed by the quality of the exhibits and the old photographs were just wonderful. A real surprise

Loved the location and the modern vibe! The negative issues were the 2nd bedroom…. Bed was uncomfortable and no furniture or stand for unloading suitcases? Was really looking forward to spending time on the rooftop but it had so much pidgin poop everywhere… was unusable. I would stay there again if those issues were fixed.

I was disappointed with the amount of bird poop on roof top floor. I know it can’t be helped cause of nature but it would have been nice to see the floor had at least been attempted to be cleaned to enjoy the space freely. Everything else was great and I enjoyed the inside space and loved the location.

In The Center of Everything and Everything You Need

Very cool industrial loft that located in the heart of Cody. We were able to walk to almost everything we needed in Cody or drive there within minutes. And everything we needed to enjoy our stay including great amenities and attention to details, were all right on hand. With Yellowstone and Red Lodge, MT so close by, seeing everything we wanted in just (3) days was convenient and easy. Even the staged gunfights that happen between the unit and the Hotel Irma every evening made it a super fun stay. Iconic exterior artwork was a bonus, too. Definitely will be coming back for a longer visit some day and would love to stay here again.

The downtown loft was well appointed, with a cool industrial vibe, and in a great location. We loved that we could walk to almost everything we did in Cody. Highly recommend.
