« We have stayed in Sara’s Shacks before so we weren’t concerned. Unfortunately we should have been concerned. We arrived after dark. Once I got into the house to turn the outside lights on, we found that the front porch light was burnt out and the back porch lighting was very poor. I messaged Sara about the front porch light and she messaged back immediately “I’ll send someone over to change the front porch light, sorry about that.”The next night we came back and no light. « Overall, a very good stay. It’s a good place to stay with kids. Great communication. I thought the check-in was a bit later than standard and the whole bit on sending an ID and how may are staying, visitors, etc was a bit much. Otherwise, a great stay »

« The property is positioned right off the water and the home itself is peaceful and well decorated. I hosted my annual women's vision board retreat and the home had everything we needed. We will stay here again. »

« House had everything you need and is in a quiet older neighborhood. The fenced in yard is very helpful if you have a dog. Beds were comfortable, appliances worked well, and TV/Internet good. Only recommendation is to put shades or blinds on from and back door. We had to tape a trash bag on front door. All requests were promptly addressed. »

« We stayed there for my son's basketball tournament at the sports center. It was only 7 minutes to walk there. We also enjoyed walking to Old Rock Hill town, where there are nice restaurants and coffee shops! The house is super clean and has everything I could ask for. I will book here again when we come back. Next time I would love to bring my dog as well:) »

« House had lovely porches but they were covered in debris and cushions were dirty. Kitchen was well stocked. Floors could have been a bit cleaner. Great location in a cute town. »

« The place worked for exactly what we needed it for, a comfortable place to stay in between long days of volleyball games. Incredibly convenient to everything we needed and wanted to go to. The fridge was super cute! »

« We really enjoyed our stay at the Restful Retreat! We loved how they had everything labeled so you don’t have to go looking for things. The bed was really comfortable, my husband said it was his best nights sleep he’s had in a year! Kim sent us messages checking in on us to see if there’s anything we needed. It was convenient to Winthrop University and within walking distance to a nice Veterens Garden. It’s also close to restaurants, grocery store. We would stay here again! »

« The host had many thoughtful touches. Extra toothbrushes and toothpaste, snacks, coffee and tea. A hairdryer, iron and steamer! There was even detergent for the washing machine. The place was clean and exactly as described! Great location with a Walmart and Publix close by. Even though it was cold during our visit there was a pool nearby that would be great for warm weather. »
