« Clare was most welcoming upon our arrival. Street parking was easy. Minor issues that might be addressed would include instructions for the hob(they were not in the oven drawer) and the new coffee machine. Location was good for touring the town and area. »

« This well appointed immaculate home provided all the comforts of home for our group of golfers from the USA. The beds were SO comfortable and the separate bathrooms for each bedroom were a real bonus. The property is tucked away in the beautiful, quiet West Ireland countryside and yet is only a five minute drive from the town center. « We stayed for two nights and had a lovely, peaceful time. The food was delicious, prepared by Joyce, and we got a ton of advice and insight about the area and Ireland in general from Aidan. They were very friendly and welcoming, and the house and grounds are gorgeous and steeped in Irish history. If we ever come back to Tuam, we'd happily stay again! »

« Our family reunion of 6 stayed here for a week and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this amazing 450 year old Tower. We had meals and played games in the great room, viewed the sunsets from the rooftop ramparts and generally lived like the Royal family (minus the servants of course). It served as an unforgettable and spectacular setting for a long overdue reunion for our family. We would return in a heartbeat. »

« It is a really good house for a group of up to 10 people. It's three minutes from Westport by car and easily walkable too. The house overall was extremely comfortable and well equipped. The beds were really good quality and comfortable too. The only thing I would suggest is it would be great to have a few additional en suites but it worked well as it was for our group. We all agreed that we would happily rebook The Rocks were we to return to Westport again. »

« We were welcomed with a little sweet surprise! After traveling for over 15 hours, it was so nice to come to the Fisherman’s Lodge and find a yummy loaf of bread, Irish butter and Rasberry Jam!! It touched our hearts. The bedrooms were just like the pictures and very clean. Anytime I texted the host, they were quick to reply and very helpful. My family felt at home and LOVED every minute!! »

« Lovely house with a vintage feeling. The living room (and 2 bedrooms) have bay windows with amazing view of the lake. Be prepared for stunning sunsets! And so practical to watch our teenager while he was fishing from the pier. House was very well equipped. Neighborhood is very quiet and friendly. The village is 5mn away with many shops and restaurants. Excellent base to visit Connemara. »

« Beautiful , well equipped house in a perfect location for visiting Connemara, Galway etc. Lots of information on things to do and detailed explanations of how to use all the equipment in the house. A perfect place to get away from it all. And, of course, if you like fishing, the house is on the shore of one of Ireland's most famous trout lakes. »

« Le cottage est très cosy et vous plonge immédiatement dans l atmosphère du pays. Il mériterait toutefois un grand nettoyage de printemps,un bon traitement contre les insectes ainsi que quelques travaux d amélioration ( pour la douche il faut choisir entre eau chaude ou débit d eau, ce n est pas confortable surtout lorsque le temps est capricieux).Rosie est une hôte agréable et son jardin est magnifique.
