« My stay at the Hampton inn Covington was disappointing. Overall, I had doubts with regards to the cleanliness of the room (sheets, towels and shower). The water temperature was inconsistent all through the stay. »

« The perfect place for two people looking for a peaceful getaway. Right on the Jackson River Scenic Trail for biking. Top Jackson River fishing and kayaking spots all within close proximity. The apartment feels large with lots of storage, full kitchen, roomy bathroom and multiple windows for fresh air. The bed and loveseat were comfy. Keep the windows open at night and drift off to sleep with the sounds of the river then wake up to the lovely songs of the birds! »

« We had originally booked the studio apt for Jan 9 to visit an elderly parent - a family emergency came up and we had to move our visit to as soon as possible - the owner kindly allowed us to transfer the booking to an earlier date, the 5th (the day after my distressed call) at the cottage instead so other family members could stay as well. Owner is not local, so apparently did not know that the cottage was not quite prepared for guests- it was clean, but not stocked and had some repairs going...

« Located in quiet area, clean with necessary appliances. Truly enjoyed our stay. Even got to pet horses and goats that are on the owners property. Would stay again when in area. »

« Our family enjoyed all the rooms & amenities at the house. Everything was beautiful. The pool & kayaking were a hit. Touring the Greenbrier bunker was educational for all of us. I emailed the owner about a couple of things & he responded promptly. A great place for all of us! »

« Nicely kept and great pastoral location. Would recommend adding a few more kitchen supplies to make cooking a little easier. Really did not enjoy a corner camera and alarm at parking area that would go off everytime you walked by. I've never experienced that at a short term rental. Overall pretty good stay though »

« Very friendly and had great small little touches that made it an enjoyable experience. Appreciated them having a toaster and a nice refrigerator. The views are fantastic. Next time I hope to use the sauna. »

« We loved this property. It had beautiful decorations and furniture inside the house.The hot tub was very nice. The view of the mountains outside was a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the views. I loved all the woodwork inside.It was perfect! This is probably one of the best places we have ever stayed in. »

« We enjoyed our stay. Not much could beat the view.!!The highway was a little noisier than expected so if you’re a light sleeper it may not be for you. I used the sound machine and it worked out well for me. We saw 3 beautiful deer in the yard coming back one night. There was a couple things we had to contact the host about, but he was helpful in helping us resolve the issue. it wasn’t anything major. »
