Enjoy all that the North Georgia mountains have to offer including hiking, shopping, wineries, driving, riding, tubing or just relaxing and enjoying the view. Our cabin is nestled in 25 acres of woods and ~850 feet off the road to enable complete privacy and seclusion. Come sit back, relax, and make some life long memories!

Birthday in the Mountains

I and a group of my friends booked this cabin for a quiet weekend get away for my 30th birthday party. It was absolutely lovely! First of all, the cabin was very clean and fully stocked with firewood, bathroom towels, and household products should we need them (dish soap, shampoo/conditioner, laundry detergent, etc.). The hosts left directions for how to use the TV, fireplace, and any other amenities within the house - which was great! Everyone commented on how nice their rooms were and that they slept wonderfully in the beds. There were plenty of games, books, and lounging areas to keep our group of 13 entertained the whole time. We all loved reading our books by the big, cozy fireplace and the kitchen table was perfect for doing puzzles. There was also a small film camera that allowed us to keep pictures from the memories we made there. Our trip was in January but we are hoping to come back in summer. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to all looking for a fun mountain vacation.

Christmas Family Getaway

My family of 10 thoroughly enjoyed our Pre-Christmas weekend stay at this cabin. Main level and downstairs bedroom options, along with an open floor plan in the main level kitchen and family room area worked well for us, our son, daughter and teen grandkids. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed for delicious meals and a wood burning fireplace for coziness and warmth. We also loved the festive holiday decorations throughout the cabin and our visit to see the Christmas lights in nearby Dahlonega, GA. Beautiful rustic setting, while also conveniently located to nearby parks, attractions and the beauty of the North Georgia mountains!

The pictures dont do this place justice. Its much bigger and more spacious than we expected! Beautiful home, amazing location, fully stocked for everything our group of friends needed for the weekend. Our friends kept saying how much of a great find this home was!

Bear Cub Corner is Outstanding!

Bear Cub Corner was perfect for our large family stay for a wedding weekend. It's secluded which was, again, perfect. A small yard for the children to play and beautiful patio area and wrap around porch for the adults. The inside was immaculate, and we loved the split of the bedrooms - three upstairs and three downstairs - which allowed us to put the babies and infants in an area they could get their sleep when needed. The hosts provided plenty of communication and responded promptly when we initiated the communication. Perfect location for access to any destinations in north/northeast Georgia. Thanks to our hosts for a fantastic stay and weekend!

Wonderful stay!

We had a fabulous stay at the cabin for our wedding weekend! Both sides of our family (parents and siblings) stay together in the house and there was plenty of space for everyone with lots of gathering space. Location was gorgeous and secluded, yet close enough for an easy drive into town. We had a great time and are so glad we chose this property.

Creating memories

We stayed with our extended family. We loved the location. It’s close to Helen and Vogel State Park. The cabin has a private entrance and road. We loved the fact that it has several rooms, so each couple had their privacy. The cabin was impecable!, and the owners have truly thought about anything you might need for your stay to make you feel at home. I would definitely recommend it.

Mountain Family Fun Time

The listing, interaction with owner, information about the rental and area was very organized, accurate, and informative. Pictures don’t do the space justice. Traveling with two families and our adult children, 10 total, there was plenty of space for all to enjoy the different areas in the cabin together and/or find private quiet spaces as well. The views from the kitchen/dining and screened patio/porch were spectacular. Much closer to the peaks than I imagined from the pictures. Bedrooms are bigger than what it seemed in pictures as well, and the well equipped laundry made for less work when returning home. On and around the property we saw a plethora of birds, a gopher, a baby deer, and a black bear one morning. Close to hiking, Helen, Anna Ruby Falls, and a relatively short trip to Atlanta (less than 2 hours) to visit the Aquarium filled our days and family game nights at the cabin made for an awesome adventure. Great secluded property for entertaining many.

Wife’s 40th Birthday

This is the perfect weekend get away house for 6 couples. Host made us feel very welcome and the property was prepared for us beyond perfection. Helen is just a short drive to grab some dinner. We will definitely book this property again based on space, ability to entertain and hang out, and superior cleanliness of the house.
