We had an amazing stay at Lydia's cottage. The cottage was spotless, cozy and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The lake views were absolutely beautiful, especially at sunset. If you're looking for a peaceful place to unwind with beautiful views this is the perfect place to stay. We hope to return.

This house was exactly what we wanted. It was super cute and relaxing. Lydia was a phenomenal host, was super responsive to any of our questions and needs. I’ve got no complaints and will definitely stay here again.

There was our second time staying at Lydia's cottage. It was wonderful - our son is already asking when we can go back! The view is beautiful. The cottage is super clean and appointed with just about everything you might need. Thank you, Lydia!

I love staying at Lydia's cottage on the lake! It is the dictionary definition of peaceful. I also love that she's a serial re-decorator. Everytime I come, the place has been re-arranged in some way, large or small, but each time feels more perfect than the last. She, and her beautiful cottage, are absolutely the best.

This was a winner! Cutest property overlooking Lake Erie about 20 min from downtown Cleveland in a quaint little town. The place was spotless and the host thought of everything right down to leaving us some amazing muffins from a local bakery for breakfast. Highly recommend this adorable cottage.

Lovely special spot to enjoy Lake Erie views in a classy updated cottage. Lynda is a lovely host with lots of information to share. Would love to visit this spot again.

Loved it!!!!

Picture was slightly misleading on access to the lake but other than that it was absolutely perfect! So clean and beautiful location. Definitely would recommend!

Great getaway spot!

The house is easy to find, has a gorgeous view and includes everything you need for a great getaway. I took my Mom for her 79th birthday and we explored the town and the Arboretum (note - $20 per person) and hung out at the house to watch the sunsets.

Family visit

After a long day of travel, we opened the front door to see the incredible view of the lake. The house is very cozy and comfortable. It was very clean and had all the basics for your stay. It is a perfect spot for a couple. Lydia is an excellent host. We can’t wait to visit again

This property was so pretty. You could tell that it was decorated and designed with Love. The view of Lake Erie was outstanding.Lydia was a great host!

Amazing property!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in July 2025. Lydia’s cottage was the perfect place to relax and reconnect with our extended family in Cleveland. The view of Lake Erie is fabulous. Lydia went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed. We plan to book again next summer!

The perfect stay in a surprising location

Our stay at the cottage was absolutely wonderful! We fell in love with the area. Our week at the cottage was perfect in every way. Lydia was very attentive to our needs while respecting our privacy, which we appreciated. I cannot say enough good things about the place. I will definitely stay there again and again.

Great place and even better view

We really enjoyed our time at Lydia's cottage. The view of the lake from the back yard was great. Inside, the cottage was very clean and nicely decorated. It was also great to meet Lydia while we were there. We will be back again next year.

We had a wonderful relaxing time at the cottage. Everything was as photographed and was very clean. The host was always very responsive and gave us great local recomendations. We especially appreciated the complimentary firewood, as its been snowing and we've enjoyed the fires. Its a simple place but perfect for our needs. Ps. The beach below is breathtaking when you get down there.

Perfect little lakeside cottage

This was my annual sibling trip with my brother. We chose Lydia’s place because we wanted to stay on the lake AND it’s close to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Y’all, it’s perfect! Love being able to have coffee and evening cocktails while watching the sunset. Lydia and her family were such wonderful welcoming folks. People were always friendly every where we went. We highly recommend this spot.
