A New Retreat at Clear Clear Lake, A Uniquely Iowan Experience

Find the perfect slice of Americana lake life in this newly renovated home on Clear Lake. No detail has been spared in creating this retreat for you and your loved ones to slow down, relax and make memories. The home features unique Iowa theming in each room. Enjoy the lake views from the Buddy Holly room, or enjoy the master suite with luxury bathroom, jacuzzi tub and screened porch. Whether you're boating, grilling, ice fishing, cycling, shopping, Netflixing, crafting or by the campfire (or fireplace) at night; this is where memories are made.

Besides the three bedrooms, there are couches and air mattresses for extra sleeping spaces. The updated and well-equipped kitchen includes a gas range and double oven and check out the wood carved map of clear lake in the redesigned dining room. If you need a desk for a workcation or quick meeting, we have a setup for that too with high-speed, stable internet.

For those bringing a boat, the home does not have a private dock, but you'll be minutes or a short walk from a public boat ramp or State beach.

The home is unofficially named Ron's Landing, after our late father who loved Clear Lake and spent many summer weekends at the lake with us.  We designed this space with care to be the perfect retreat for us and our families, so we know you'll have an unforgettable experience and love it just as much as we do.

Security camera disclosure: as required by VRBO, there are two external security cameras at this property. One covers the front door and one covers the back door. They are purely for security purposes since the owners do not live local.

Perfect home away from home for our first family girls only trip!

We were close to shopping and the beach and restaurants. The neighborhood was perfect for nightly walks. Check in was a breeze and the kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with everything we needed. Cozy and comfortable home away from home!

Awesome Lake House

This property has all the comforts of home. The kitchen is equipped with all of the appliances, utensils, cook and bakeware needed to prepare any meal. The bed and bathrooms were comfortable and well appointed. The living areas were comfortable, but, the real attraction was the front deck and enclosed porch with the great view of the lake. We were there in the off season late September early October and it was nice and quiet. I imagine there would be more activity at the height of summer. We had a wonderful time and this house and Clear Lake are definitely on our list of places to return to.

Clear Lake family vacation/retreat.

We love Clear Lake, the town and the lake itself. This property has been beautifully appointed and equipped with the latest technology - from check in to check out, the WIFI, the TVs, the Sonos speakers. Loved the renovations. The family could bond with games, food, walks, bike rides, getting out on the lake and just hanging out. Highly recommend.

Family Fun Fest

This home is outstanding. I highly recommend staying at this location. Couldn’t have been easier to navigate between the home, PM Park, and the rest of the family that were staying on the south shore. Plenty of parking for 4 cars. The owners are tremendous. Reached out to check in. We appreciated that. The neighbors are really nice too. My relatives that live there are also recommending this home to their friends that visit. Beautiful Spot In Clear Lake

This is a beautiful vacation home in Clear Lake. It is across the street from the lake and has lake views. We spent most of our time on the front deck relaxing with family. Our two adult children, their spouses, and four grandchildren stayed with us. There are quiet spaces for babies to nap and young kids to play. The house is spotless and is stocked with everything you need. The grill made it easy to feed a crowd and there is also a fire pit in the back. We loved our stay and would return when visiting family in the area.

Great Memories!

Perfect home on the lake! We still have teens at home and an adult child with her own little family. This home offered lots of options for spending time together, while still giving us the privacy we needed. The home had everything we needed for our stay and was very well organized. Cleanliness is very important to me, and this home did not disappoint. The host was very quick to respond, and very accommodating. We have rented several vacation homes and this one was one of my favorites!

What a great house! We stayed in Clear Lake for a weekend with our young adult kids and this house was perfect for us. Great living spaces, lovely bedrooms, and a kitchen with everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay here, such a cute and cozy home with everything we needed for cooking and baking. Several spaces for visiting and game playing, while others watched the game. The open concept kitchen made everyone feel included and had plenty of room for dining and snacking. Beds were comfortable and fully stocked with plenty of extra pillows and blankets. The house is well decorated and architecturally interesting from the ceiling beams to the unique nooks and pocket doors. It's a fun house with something for everyone, looking forward to staying here again in the summer and enjoying the lake.

Ben was a great host. The property is awesome! It was private with a beautiful view of the lake from the sunroom. We really enjoyed watching the sunrise each morning. We will stay here again when we have more time to spend in the Clear Lake area! Highly recommended!!!
