« Really enjoyed the deck and view from this house, and the inside is very nicely appointed with cute and clean furnishings. However, some of the necessities weren't entirely functional. I'm tall (6') and I repeatedly hit my head on the track lighting down the middle of the kitchen ceiling. The lighting in the main bedroom (which is charged with a cable and you have to unscrew the lightbulbs to charge them, and they're turned on by remote) didn't really work very well. « We had a great time staying here. It was pure luck because our ferry got canceled, and we were happy Joshua had an open night. The cottage is adorably decorated and has a million things to look at, including old family photos, knick knacks, and even a record player. « OMG this home was such a stunner! We arrived after dark because of the ferry ride, but when we arrived, the house had subdued lighting, relaxing music and some essential oils going. We both walked in and said "Wow, Oh my god"! And it was still dark, so we couldn't see the view, but we could hear it. « We travel as a group of 8 ( 4 brothers and their wives ) for golfing every year and decided we wanted to stay in digby. We stayed at this property and it was perfect for us. There wss actually 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms so everyone had their own space . The patio was large and plenty of chairs. The kitchen had everything we needed . We had a great time here. »

« Liked the fact that this place had plenty of beds. It also had a few games and books for the children. Also as it rained just about all the time we were there we completely a puzzle that was there. We also had a take out meal with a couple of friends. »

« Terrific time in Kemptville, NS at this accommodation - Moose Cabin - Golden Forest Lodge. I recently had a three day vacation there with my 14 year old Son and his Father. We had a great experience from the moment we arrived. We were greeted upon arrival, the owner/host went out of his way to accommodate us and we were treated very kindly throughout the entire stay.
