« The Green Elephant is stunning. Conveniently located (if you have transport) for getting around Lilongwe but not directly in the middle. The staff are relaxed, friendly and professional and helped every day. They made me special vegetarian options on request, and let me help myself to other foods. The furnishings are top notch. « Mirroring the exterior concrete slab look of the property, the horrible inside of the hotel is a tired version of what used to be even as new ugly design and poor furniture choice. The doors were not made for the frame and hardware so all doors are hacked on the top. You can see daylight around the doors as the fit is so poor.
