« Was really good stay, clean and a lovely spacious room, exactly what we needed. Long weekend prices quite expensive tho, note it is a share accomodation but everything’s as if it were a hotel and you have your own private space. Could use the front door lock on the main building to be fixed, got caught several times not being able to get out and felt like we were waking other guests up. »

« The Grange on Calgan Farm is placed on beautiful grounds with views over the Kalgan River. It is very quiet and relaxing, however, even though it is advertised as pet and child friendly the host is not particularly friendly towards dogs and children. We had a lovely time in Albany, and spent hardly any time at the Grange, with two adults, two teenage children and a labrador, expecting a dog friendly place, as it was advertised, but did not feel welcome with our dog. « The apartment is modern, fresh and clean in a great location near the beach and town. An unexpected bonus provided by the hosts was breakfast cereals, milk, juice etc. and a lovely cheese platter I didn't mind the closeness to the railway tracks (and the occasional passing train) - my husband, however, was not happy about the disturbance to his sleep. »
