« The Punchbowl Inn was a lovely pub to stay at, the staff were very friendly, the food was amazing. The room was lovely and had a fantastic view of the dales. If I had to be picky it would have been nice to have a shower curtain or screen over the bath as using the shower head I tended to flood the floor, but the water was lovely and hot. and I would return again. »

« Lovely accommodating owners of the guest house. Nice room and bathroom. Area to sit downstairs and watch the TV, which was lovely. Surrounded by nice walks and a local pub. Breakfast was also nice. I cannot fault the place. »

« Le village est ravissant et typique des Dales, alors nous avons été déçus en arrivant au B&B par l'état du jardin, avec des détritus dans tous les coins (vieille télé, lino, ferrailles...). L'accueil était correct mais pas chaleureux. La chambre est jolie mais les matelas sont de mauvaise qualité (on ressent les ressorts ) et le lit pour adultes ne fait que 120 cm! Sinon, le petit déjeuner était bon. Nous déconseilons cet endroit, vu le prix beaucoup trop cher pour la qualité du service. »

« Food was plentiful, very tasty and presented nicely. Good drinks options. Room spacious, clean and everything you could need. Tea tray replenished upon request with plent of tea coffee water etc . Staff friendly, approachable and heloful. Would stay sgain as soon as possible! »

« A five star property and staff — some of the best food we’ve ever had traveling, and here it is in the Yorkshire Dales! Friendly, helpful staff to a person, every shift, every position. The historic manor house buildings are beautiful, tastefully updated to allow a glass-walled dining wing that looks out over the rolling green hills. It’s a stunning setting. The bedroom is the only shortcoming. Peer facilities might offer visitors pillows of various stiffness to accommodate different sleepers’...

« This is a beautifully appointed cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's in a quiet location looking out onto a courtyard. Although there is no onsite parking, we had no trouble finding a parking space on the square. Visitors should also be aware that there is no outdoor seating area but we were out and about so this wasn't a problem for us. We would recommend the fish and chip place - but go for small fish and chips! The large are for those with a very large appetite! ...

« Always a great stop. Lovely countryside to stretch your legs before a lovely dinner. Comfy sleep and tasty breakfast before hitting the road again. Great find. »
