We were 4 couples and we had lots of room, places to be together, and corners to sit alone and read. The yard, the new salt water pool, and the sauna, the outdoor covered dining table, all treats. Our host were attentive, and generous with their time when we needed them. One morning they came by in a truck to pick some of us up with canoes for a trip to the lake.We had a great stay. »

« Caught red handed not giving a damn would be the best way to describe the management of this hotel. Check-in started at 3pm and we arrived at 4:15 pm to a room that wasn’t ready with a mattress hanging out the door. The motel looked to have one, maybe two other transient guests. That’s it. The manager appeared to need to wake-up the disheveled looking room cleaner who was living in another room and together they dragged the mattress away. Once in our room we noticed a hole in the bathroom...
