What a treat!

Sumner Re Treat was a luxurious stay in a fabulous spot. Superb location and amenities. Great breakfast provisions. Love looking forward to coming again one day. A one minute walk to Sumner Beach for the fabulous sunrises.

What a beautiful place to stay! Chris (the hostess) was very lovely and accommodating. Stunning room, beautfully appointed, everything you need and more. Amazing place and area to stay

Well-appointed and excellent value

Highest standard of fittings at this price I've seen in NZ: full kitchen including DishDrawer (unused by us but it's there), decent surround-sound system, under-floor heating. Great alternative to a city-centre location.

Love the proximity to restaurants, cafes, beach & outlying areas. Only small negative was bed mattress too soft for our liking.

It is a perfect location, comfy bed. The room feels a little small. They have a large lobby that houses only the elevator, seems a waste of space. Good place for a one-night stand. It's quite a hands-off experience (got my room key by myself didn't interact with any receptionist), I would've liked a heads up in that regard. Overall, though pretty good.

Not quite what I had expected

Booked online and thought I was booking something similar to the photos... not quite what I expected. The apartment was in a great location, had a wonderful spa on the top floor and basic amenities. The kitchen and dining had insufficient lighting and there was a strong unpleasant smell coming out from the kitchen sink anytime the plug was removed. Breakfast âme with the desk and the margarine was out of date by 5 months. Chris the owner was pleasant although I felt like we were being watched when I saw the camera views on a screen in the lobby and also when Chris appeared at our car as we were taking our things down to the car on check out day. I booked with a pay at property option and wasn’t given this option at the time of Check in/check out, as it was taken from my overseas card before discussion took place - that was disappointing as I had to pay in AUD rather than my preferred option of NZD. The apartment was advertised as luxury, I wouldn’t give it this title.

just lovely! underground parking, down to heated towel rails that come on automatically, this property is absolutely a cut above anywhere else we stayed, and so close to the beach too!!

部屋はとても広く快適でした。キッチン付で、調理道具や食器も揃っているので自炊もできます。２ベッドルーム、２シャワールームです。部屋の中にランドリールームもあるので、洗濯も部屋にいながら出来ます。約１週間滞在しましたがとても良い滞在になりました。

Fantastic apartment. Probably the biggest we have ever stayed in. Central to all that Sumner has to offer and the pool was also great.

Little gem

Sumner Re Treat exceeded all our expectations. The location is fantastic, across the street from a beautiful beach. The space is gorgeous, sparkling clean, and very well laid out. Full kitchen, lovely bathroom, very comfortable bed. There's access to an outdoor swimming pool and hot tub also. My only regret is that we stayed only two nights. I wish we would have booked a longer stay. I highly recommend and would happily return!
