« Hello, I arrived at this hotel first off all the location is way off from the Expedia maps. Then the staff didn't speak English but we communicated through a translation app. They did not have the required paperwork to let foreign guest stay there. VERY DISAPPOINTED AS EXPEDIA ALSO HAS CHARGED ME FOR THE STAY. »

« base-wangfujing was a fantastic "base" for our stay in Beijing. Easy access to the Subway and with lots of restaurants and bars - both traditional and contemporary - within easy walking distance. Easy walking distance to many of the main sties of central Beijing - Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City, BeiHai park and the intriguing maze of hustings around NanLuoGuXiang. « Very large room that is decently clean and comes with a kitchen, washer dryer, living area and sofa. Breakfast was decent and relatively inexpensive with ok options. Cleanliness is acceptable but the key concern is the room air conditioning. We went in the spring so we could live with the weak air conditioning. However, it might be hard to deal with during the summertime. Will recommend the Japanese restaurant at the hotel lobby. Food and drinks are absolutely fantastic. »

« While our stay got off to a rocky start, the staff were very helpful in sorting out some broken appliances. The room was very clean and comfortable. The halls had a lot of visible dust at the carpet edges but otherwise common spaces were also clean. »
