« Is exactly as advertised. It is in the country about a half a kilometre from the lake. There are horses, dogs & cats to enjoy. My room was spacious & comfortable. There’s also a common room & a common kitchen with your personal mini fridge. The hostess offered to prepare breakfast & dinner, presumably for a fee but I travel self-sufficient & was very comfortable preparing my own meals & dining in the common area & in the beautifully set up lawn area on the day the weather complied. « I loved the way the owners have a large selection of vhs' to take to your room. The room was clean. The lake is beautifully nestled in a small valley that is not overly polluted with noise from the highway near-by. I was sad that the owners were not able to open their restaurant this year due to staffing issues. But will definitely be back and am looking forward to that Italian meal. »

« We had another fantastic weekend at The Bears Den!! I have lost count of how many times we have rented the property but every time we arrive it feels like we are home! The location is perfect with a short walk to the lake and the views from the patio and through all the windows is amazing. The cabin itself is well equipped with everything you need. The beds are so comfortable and the linens are beautiful. We look forward to many more weekends at The Bears Den!! »

« Great vibe from the cabin , I can see alot of good times had there over the years , I'm familiar with the area so knew what to expect, hopefully revisit with a couple more people in the future , left a bottle of bailys and champaigne in the fridge , enjoy hahaha »
