Located near Enloe and Downtown Chico, this corner-lot hideaway is the perfect place to kick off your shoes, unwind, and enjoy the peaceful charm of this beautiful town. Inspired by Japanese design, the home invites stillness, simplicity, and comfort.

You’ll notice several traditional elements throughout the home:

The King bed and Twin beds sit low to the ground to honor Japanese design.

Prefer a standard-height bed? The Queen bed is elevated as usual.
Please note: The home is located on a busy road.

🌿 Outdoor Spaces:
Our backyard is currently simple and undergoing redesign due to recent fires.
You`ll find:

🔥 BBQ

♨️ Hot tub (currently more exposed than usual)

🌱 Lawn maintenance: Thursday mornings
💧 Fountain cleaning: Tuesday afternoons (flexible if needed)

When entering the bonus room, please watch for the step.

The front gate is being worked on and is tied open—please do not remove or tamper with the stakes.

🚫 Do not park in front of the business across the street. Thank you!

There is local street artwork near the home—if cars slow down to look, that’s completely normal!

Since a cleaning fee is included, checkout is simple—just leave the home in reasonable condition and enjoy that final morning cup of coffee.

Our gardener works flexibly and may appear at various times to tend to the grounds. Thank you for your patience and appreciation of our green spaces!

📄 Check-In Requirements:

All guests must sign a rental agreement

Government-issued ID required prior to check-in

Non-Airbnb bookings require a credit card hold (released after stay if no damages occur)

⏰🔑 Early Check-Ins:
Early check-ins before 4 PM require host approval and are not guaranteed. Please message us to check availability.

🌿🏗️ Backyard Update:
We are actively redoing the landscaping. Expected completion: January 1st, 2026.

💳📢 Payment Info:
Your card statement will show angiesstays, not VRBO.
VRBO only charges the service fee; the reservation fee comes directly from us.

•Please do not force the driving gate. There is an entrance designated for walking into the unit. The button for the walk-in gate is on the back of the door handle

*Drive-in gate stays open for only 60 seconds and does not have a touch sensor. We are not held liable if the gate hits your car - 60 seconds should be plenty of time to drive in and out

*The inconvenience fee for losing the driveway gate remote key is $150

•Please do not disturb the neighbors—honor quiet hours of 9pm to 6am
