« Hotel Diamond Chico is a beautifully restored historic hotel with large room, comfortable beds, and a fabulous continental breakfast. We stayed there 2 nights, from June 24-26, while in town for our son’s orientation at Chico State. The hotel is within close walking distance to campus, restaurants, farmer’s market, and banks. « Beds, blankets, pillow comfortable. Very small bathroom but it worked. Great, clean pool outside. Enjoyed swimming! Breakfast was great: scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage patties, muffins, toast, bagels, yogurt dispenser (!), waffles, juice. »

« A pet-friendly hotel permits pets on the property, but it is not a free-for-all. It almost always means you will pay an extra fee. But this is not the case at Motel 6 I have a cat, so I book an accessible room which gives me plenty of room to place the litter box within the large bathroom. « Ac sucked, wall trim was pulled away from wall in places and had rotten wood. Food crumbs under bed and tables. And black mold in the bathroom by the toilet and around the tub and on the roof »

« Besides the price which is very reasonable. Each time that we travel to Chico, always stay at this motel. I find the staff friendly and plenty of parking and the rooms are always clean. Next time we are in Chico our #1 Choice. »

« I love Residence Inns and the Residence Inn in Chico followed suit with all of the other fabulous Residence Inns I've stayed at! The staff were very friendly and helpful. I have a food allergy and at breakfast, that was also wonderful and so many options, there was a sign saying ask about their gluten free items. The staff member I spoke with was extremely helpful and packed me up a whole box of gluten free goodies to take! The room was also great, spacious and nice. The pool was wonderful, too!...
