If you using this hotel for a getaway staying longer than 5 days or if u living here for a while that's ok.But for 2 or 3 days no. They dont clean the rooms..not even if u request..the staff is rude the room had holes in wall and the chair fell apart when my sister sat in it (and no shes not fat).The only good thing was the lemondae in the lobby..it was popcorn too but it was stale..Go across the street to the Holiday Inn..Stay clear of this place

Visiting Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore as a side trip from a work meeting in Chicago. This was an easy hotel to get to right off the interstate. A large room and friendly staff.

Bad experience...

The toilet in the room was broken and I called the front desk and the lady told me that she was coming to check it out, she never did... So I used the garbage can to pour water on it, otherwise you couldn't flush it... Kind of nasty!

Okay hotel

Smelly hallways , dirty elevator , room bathroom and floors not so pleasant . Very responsive and understanding staff . Great place just to crash . Hotel would be great if it was more clean and more of a fresh feel. Doors were a bit too far from parking . Needs better breakfast for the price . Staff was great but if everyone have their best and not just do what they want , the hotel would be excellent !

The room was very comfortable, clean but best part was staff. The staff was amazing very friendly, helpful to the most demanding customer (the ones in front of me). We are staying there again when we return to Chicago.

Will not stay here again.

The room is outdated and what was said as amenities in the description were not true. What we paid for the hotel was not worth it. The front desk was not friendly. Our toilet overflowed, so they came up to fix it and it seemed like no big deal to them. Tried to order a pizza and because of the neighborhood, the pizza place had to call to confirm that we were actually staying there, but nobody answered the front desk phone, hence we never got our pizza.

The location was great but the services sucks.The room had left over garbage from previous guest.

Bad Choice, Sticking with The Hyatt

Once I got into my room, I was okay. But on my way up, the elevator was dirty, the halls smelled like dirty house smell, or very dirty laundry. The television selection was horrible, need many more channels. My room did not have tissue or towels. I will never return to this place.
