The property is the perfect refuge after a long day in the Windy City or sunbathing on the beach. After working hard and playing hard, a comfy bed with high-quality linens ensures you’ll be rested and ready for the next day.

The Space:
Located on one of the desirable, famous streets in Chicago, this property is a 5-minute walk from the Gold Coast beach on the shores of Lake Michigan. The subway and the Magnificent Mile are also well within walking distance. This basement studio is ideal for those who want to combine a city break with some beach time.

**Please note that due to the age of the house, the pipework has been known to bang when the heating is turned on. This means that the space is not suitable for very light sleepers or those sensitive to noise.

Entering the studio takes you immediately into the open plan bedroom/living area, which has a space-saving double wall bed and a double-velvet chesterfield sofa bed. Furnishing and amenities include a TV, nightstands and tasteful period decor throughout. There is also a comfortable fold-out single bed available for those who need it.

The bathroom comes with a double sink, jacuzzi bath and built-in shower so you can feel relaxed and at home.

Our one-bedroom Chicago studio is ideal for families or couples and can host up to 4 adults.

Guest Access:
We provide a lockbox for flexible self-check-in.

Guests have full access to the basement apartment. Please do not attempt to enter the townhouse above— this is a separate home.

Both suites are locked and rented out as separate listings.

Noise must be limited after 10 pm to avoid disturbing residents and neighbours.

The Neighborhood:
This area of Chicago boasts some of the best restaurants, bars and cigar lounges in Chicago. It's a truly special place to stay.

Getting Around:
The studio is very well located for public transportation. The subway is within a 5-minute walk. There are bus stops at the end of the road.

PARKING
Unfortunately, we do not have permits for the street.
There are multiple multi-storey car parks all within a 10-minute walk of the property. The prices vary from $30-60 per day depending on proximity to the property.

We also recommend using SpotHero online to book a space, which is usually cheaper.

Other Things to Note:
There is a high likelihood of noise due to the city centre location and being below a Townhouse. Neighbours are nearby, and noise in the flat must be limited after 10 pm. The pipes in the suite are also known to bang slightly when the heating is on.

We may require a deposit for single-night bookings, last-minute reservations, and large booking groups. This can be retained for noise complaints, unauthorized parties, excessive uncleanliness, or damage beyond normal use.
