Location location - The Lake Chelan Cottage is perfectly located in the heart of downtown Chelan only 5 blocks from the city’s center restaurants, shops, wineries, and bars. Don Morse park is across the street from our location and provides easy access to the public lakefront beach and boat rental. Starbucks, Safeway, and local bakeries are just a few minutes walk. Enjoy everything Chelan has to offer and not worry about driving or parking after you arrive!
PARKING INSTRUCTIONS: from W. Nixon Ave. parking is down the alley (white Cottage will be on your left). Parking is available in front of the garage – make sure your car is parked at an angle to avoid your car extending into the ally. Also, on street parking in front of the Cottage is totally an OK spot to park!
HOUSE RULES DURING YOUR STAY *6 is the maximum number of guests allowed. *Parties or added visitors/guests are not allowed inside or outside on property. *No music allowed outside after 10pm. Before 10pm please keep music quiet for the neighborhood. *No smoking or vaping inside or outside on the property **Abuse of house, house amenities or, house rules may result in post-reservation charges equal to the value of costs incurred. By booking our listing, you agree to these terms and all other house rules. Please be respectful as this place was created with love to share with you.
- Neighborhood Quiet Hours 10 PM - 8 AM - No Smoking or Vaping on the property or in the cottage - No Events or Parties - No firearms allowed on the property - No Additional Guests - 6 Adult Maximum - We have two exterior cameras for the safety of our guests and for insurance purposes. - Please remove shoes when inside. - In the event of any breaks, spills or stains, etc. please let us know ASAP. - No confetti, balloons, silly string, glitter or other items of this nature are allowed to be used on the property or in the cottage. This will cause you to lose your deposit. - Do not use any candles or bonfires on the property or in the cottage. - Soiled or dirty bed linens and towels will be charged to the guest to be replaced if ruined. - Leave the cottage in the same condition you found it and report any damages (broken items, stains, etc.) to us immediately. Additional cleaning fees will be charged if items or spaces require extra cleaning time. - Do not rearrange or move furniture around. Please carry coolers and suitcases to avoid damaging the hardwood floor. - House is child-friendly at your own risk. Our home is in no way childproof, and there are many sharp edges and hazards. We do not have cribs available but you`re welcome to bring a porta-crib. If any of our furniture is soiled from an accident please alert us right away so we can advise how to clean it.
Lake Chelan Cottage Rental Terms & Conditions
Check-in Procedure
Check-in time begins at 4:00 p.m. Directions to the cottage will be emailed to you one week prior to your scheduled arrival.
Check-out Procedure
10:00 a.m. sharp is scheduled check-out time. Guests occupying the home after 10:00 a.m. will be accessed a late check-out fee equal to $150.00.
Eviction
Residents and guests agree to adhere to local laws, rules and regulations. Residents and guests agree to keep the premises in a clean and sanitary condition and comply with NO smoking and pre-approval required for pets. Residents and guests are subject to immediate eviction and removal from premises for any of the following reasons: (1) Smoking inside the home, or within 25 feet of any home. (2) Having unauthorized pets. (3) The number of occupants exceeds the number of contracted guests. (4) Complaints of noise, foul language, or otherwise disturbing the peace. The entire amount of reservation costs will be forfeited for violation of any of the following reasons, regardless of whether resident is evicted.
Quiet Hours
10:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m. - Monitored and Enforced. Downtown Chelan is a special neighborhood with a family environment. Please respect the desire of our full-time residents and other guests in honoring quiet time.
Resident shall be fined $100 for each `after hours call-out` for violation of quiet time between the hours of 10:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. Complaints of noise, foul language, or law enforcement response may be cause for immediate eviction from premises.
During Your Stay
Your home is stocked for your arrival with start-up bath amenity kits, a laundry amenity kit, dishwashing supplies and paper products including tissue, toilet paper, and paper towels. These are intended for your convenience to begin your stay with us, but are not replenished indefinitely.
Cleaning Fee
Please leave the home in the same general condition as it was when you arrived. Staff will arrive after your departure to thoroughly clean and inspect the home.
All food and drink spills should be cleaned up as they occur. Food and drink spills on furniture are considered to be damage, not normal wear and tear, and additional cleaning fees will be charged.
The refrigerator should be emptied of all food and free of spills. All used dishes should be rinsed and placed in the dishwasher on the wash cycle.
A mid stay cleaning may be scheduled for 50% of the full cleaning fee. Mid stay cleanings include: floors vacuumed and mopped, garbage collected, beds made (linens do not get washed), dishes loaded in dishwasher, pots and pans washed and put away, kitchen and bathroom counters wiped down, and a restocking of bath/laundry supplies and paper products.
Additional housekeeping charges may also be applied in the occurrence of exceeding the maximum occupancy of the cottage.
What to Bring
Food, clothes, personal items, beach towels. For any items you do not see listed on the home`s amenity list or are not sure about, please email or call us and ask.
Security Deposit
In the event of a violation of our `no smoking`, `pet pre-approval` or `maximum occupancy` policies or incidental damages which occur during the tenancy, the tenant(s) will be charged an appropriate amount to cover expenses or repairs. Additional housekeeping charges will be charged if excessive cleaning is required and/or check out procedures are not adhered to.
Lost and Found
The Lake Chelan Cottage property owners are not responsible for personal property left behind, stolen or damaged during your stay. Every attempt will be made to locate lost items, but there is no guarantee that they will be found. Upon check out PLEASE take all of your belongings & check the property carefully. Never leave valuables (cash, wallets, jewelry, cameras, etc.) unattended. If you find you have left something behind, message the host and we will attempt to locate the missing item(s).
