First, read Michael Craggs review. He is 100% accurate about his review. We had the terrible same huge problem upon arrival on 31 March 2024 - unbeknownst to us for not reading Michael Craggs review before we booked this Riad. When my wife and I arrived at the Riad, which we had booked through Hotels.com, Fatima, the receptionist gave us a very small, unclean room directly above the reception and breakfast area. It was without question not the same room we booked that clearly showed with pictures a "luxury double room". Iman, who claimed to be the owner of this Riad and two others in the area told me the pictures at Hotels.com, Expedia.com & Bookings.com websites got mixed up after I showed him the advertised description and pictures for the "luxury double room" I booked. Iman started to argue with me about the room especially after I just looked at prior reviews and mentioned Michael Craggs same problem - 3 months ago - which would allow Iman enough time to correct the advertised photos mix-up and prevent trouble with guests. Iman said I can cancel to go to another Riad and he will give me a full refund. When Mohamed, my guide arrived just before Iman left the Riad, Fatima argued with Mohamed but she confirmed the cancellation and mentioned I would receive an automatic refund through my credit card processing but she refused to initiate the process. NOT GOOD! So, we left with our guide to another Riad.
