« We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The covered porch and the sitting area down by the private dock were our favorite spots. The floors need some attention, but other than that we loved it there. We would stay again! Also, Todd was very responsive to texts when we had questions. »

« Very cute cottage. The glass door on the bathroom could use a curtain. The path to the cottage is really not handicapped accessible making it difficult for older people to walk and carry luggage. »

« The house was well maintained and clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed (paper towels, foil, salt/pepper, pots/pans, plastic bags, etc.). We truly only had to buy food and drinks during our stay. There were games and books to entertain a 2 year old in between outings. We loved the swing and outdoor scrabble board on the screened in front porch! We appreciated the easy to control temperature and there was a fan in the main bedroom that we used for white noise. « It’s a little confusing and deceiving when you are pulling into the property. If possible, plan to arrive when it’s daylight. Biggest thing is that as you pull in, you’re looking at the backside of the house / property. Once there, it’s just as advertised and amazing. »

« Convenient location to Rock City and Lookout Mountain, which we loved! The host, Maria, is very friendly. The Carriage House is above the garage so a flight of stairs is involved to get there. Everything worked okay but the unit was a bit dated for the price. »
