"We had an excellent stay at Ballan-Miré. The house is really nice and well furnished, including towels and tea towels, BBQ, outside seating etc. The beds were done on arrival which is really appreciated. The house was clean and a good size, with two large bathrooms. The garden is big and really nice and sunny. WiFi is working well. There is a large supermarket 5 min drive away. No shops at walking distance. The hosts are welcoming, helpful and discreet. Overall a very positive experience! "

"My family and I enjoyed this house and it was great to be able to appreciate the old architectural charm of the building. The outdoor space was perfect for us and was a big plus. The house isn’t right in the city center but we were able to walk or ride bikes into town very conveniently. The only real negative was the checkin and checkout process as the place where we had to pick up and drop off the key was not close by especially if you were in a rush or didn’t have a car. "Beautiful, spacious limestone cottage with oak beams -very well equipped and lovingly appointed. There's lots of private outdoor space for relaxing and ample parking. Samira and Bertrand are generous, kind and knowledgable people who made us feel at home right from the start. The cottage is close to Azay le Rideau, lots of the wonderful chateaux in the Loire valley and bike paths. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this accommodation."

"The Gite was exactly as advertised and we were very pleased not only with the gite but the location as only a short drive to the town of Le Lude with shops , restaurants etc, Howard the owner was on hand if needed and very helpful we will certainly revisit again and I have no hesitation to recommend to family and friends"
