Castaway Cove Lake Norman NC - Beautiful Lake Front Vacation Home!

Castaway Cove Lake Norman NC is a Fun, Quiet & Family Friendly Lake Front Vacation Home. This waterfront ranch style home with private dock is a 3600 square foot home that comfortably sleeps 16 guests. Five bedrooms and three full bathrooms offer plenty of space for family and friends. The well equipped kitchen, breakfast area, dining room and great room (with Smart TV) are on the main level situated in an open floor plan so everyone can be part of all the activities. A finished game room in the basement with Roku enabled television provides plenty of entertainment with a pool table, ping pong table, air hockey, two arcade machines that include Mrs. PacMan, Golden Tee and other games.

The outside is just as inviting with seating on the large brand new deck just off of the kitchen or enjoy the view on the covered patio below. Water depth around the new private 20ft dock is 6+ feet with plenty of room for your boat and/or wave runner. It is also the perfect setting for fishing and swimming. There is a ladder on the dock for easy access in and out of the water. Take advantage of the convenient location with gas dock directly across from the house dock at Lake Norman Marina. Soak in the lake life with outdoor grilling on the patio, competitive games of cornhole and nights by the fire pit with cooking grate.

A full size washer and dryer, ironing board/iron and all linens are provided. Please note this is not a daily linen service. Also included is a starter kit with trash bags, paper products, dish/hand soap, dishwasher pods, detergent pods, dryer sheets and wrapped bar soap.

Great location. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, dishes, etc. The common areas were large with lots of seating/table space. The fire pit area was amazing. Everything was clean. No issues using the TV, wifi, etc. We loved this place!

Hidden Gem On The Lake

Our stay was wonderful! We stayed with six families and there was enough room for us all! The house was very clean and everything was well organized, and labeled for our convenience. Stores and restaurants are within 15 minutes, and some further but on the lake as well. We would highly recommend this house to those travelling to the area with large groups, and like a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful lake view. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

Rich family end of summer fun

We always have a fun lake weekend for our kids and granddaughters before school starts. We enjoyed the privacy and the dock so much! We brought our pontoon and the convenience was a plus! The games in the downstairs were a plus too! Lovely home and we enjoyed it so much!

Great Family Reunion Spot

Twelve family members, ages 15-80, gathered for an early birthday celebration. It was the perfect place for everyone. The downstairs pool table, air hockey, pacman games and more were great for inclement weather and evening fun. The dock, although small, worked well for recreational fishing, swimming and launching paddleboards. We will rent again for our next get together!

Perfect for a relaxing and fun getaway

The house has tons of space which was great for each couple to not feel on top of each other. It did feel a little bare but you certainly have everything you need. There was a hiccup with losing internet during a storm and Don was incredibly responsive and helpful. I also chose this house for the game room. The pool table needs a little TLC. But that’s minor. We all spent the evening playing and laughing together. Just perfect! The outside space is so nice. I like that it’s not out in the big part of the lake. Peaceful, quiet little cove to float around all day and then make a fire at night and hang together. We really enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful stay!

This home was just as promised in the listing. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed all the amenities of the home. Don was a great host. Home was clean and had plenty of extra pillows, towels etc. The beds were comfortable and the futons extremely comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Relaxing by the lake

It was a time for enjoying friends, food and fellowship. There is enough space to spread out and not get in each others way but intimate enough to be connected. The advertisement was accurate for room size and description of the amenities.

Owner was very accommodating and responsive during winter storm. As far as the property, upstairs great, however, downstairs could use quire a bit of upgrades. Lots of games and entertainment options.

Perfect family gathering location for all ages

Property was very clean. We gathered as a family from a few states. With the game room, firepit, and large gathering areas, everyone found something to do together or someplace to settle by themselves to read a good book. Even though it was winter, there was a lake barefoot skiing competition across the lake we were avle to watch from the dock Already talking about renting as a family again in the summer when we can thoroughly enjoy the lake itself as well as all the other great amenities we enjoyed this time. More than pleased with this rental!.
