« My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this lake home. The lake views were beautiful, and we enjoyed watching the sun set every evening on the dock. The home was well equipped and very clean. It was the perfect size for a couples getaway. We spent most of our time on the dock and on the back porch overlooking the water. The reclining chairs on the porch were a highlight while relaxing! Thank you for such a great stay, we can’t wait to visit again! »

« We came to Lake Norman to visit our grandchildren who live in Sherrills Ford. This home was 10 min. from their home. The cove this home is located in is calm and almost mystical. The home has everything one would need for a lakeside visit and more! We did not even have time to enjoy everything. Additional bonus was having a dock to tie up our son’s ski boat during our stay. »

« We rented the Bohopad somewhat last minute as a place to stay while we were in town for our 17 year olds lacrosse tournament. It is a hidden gem for sure! The pictures don’t do it justice. When you pull into the driveway it’s like you are entering your own personal secret garden. Check in instructions were perfect. « This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed here. We only get a vacation every few years and this is the only place we’ve come back multiple times. It is perfect for us. Our kids first started coming here when they were younger and now they are both adults and it’s still their favorite place. »

« We had a great stay here! The host really has the place well equipped. Clean, great location, peaceful dock that you can swim off of. The kayaks and paddle board were fun. (But be aware that they have a weight limit of around 225 lb). Lots to do in the area. Great communication with the host »

« We lived our Etsy in this charming cottage. The owners/managers were so communicative and helpful. Such a professional operation. The cottage was beautiful and clean and had all the extras we could want. Our only suggestion may be to run a portable dehumidifier because the older cottage wasn’t insulated. It cooled down well but was a touch humid and therefore a touch musty. Not a big problem at all. Thanks so much for a great stay! »
