I was shocked how lovely this rental was upon waking in. Took pictures and shared with friends and family. If pressed for feedback, however. perhaps the only issues were:
1) the curtains in the bedroom were nowhere near my blackout curtains I really need for high-quality sleep, esp upon sunrise.
2) loud bars nearby with karaoke but this ended by around 10p so not an issue, really.

Easy to find entrance as long as you follow the clear directions that are provided at check in. The apartment is located right on the main downtown "social" strip with bars, restaurants and shopping literally just a few steps from your door. The space is perfect for my husband and I, the bed was comfortable and convenient amenities were provided. Be aware that you are staying in an area with a LOT going on outside with music, people and cars, so there will be noise until 2am. The noise did not bother us, but a noise machine was provided on a bedside table to help people who need the white noise to drown out the outside activity. Overall great stay and would return if we come back to Charleston!

Had difficulty getting into the apartment via the entry code. They had listed the wrong code on all correspondence. Management company assisted over the phone. The noise level from the street bars goes until 1am. Very loud bands on the weekends. Windows are floor to ceiling with no shades so sun streams in all day and early morning. Walls chipped, furniture chipped. Parking rate was 24 per day and listing said 18. However, fabulous location and comfortable beds and sofa.

Too noisy.
The property was nice, clean and great restaurants within walking distance. This part of King St. Is lots and lots of bars and the bar across the street did not stop playing loud rock and roll music until 2:00am. I would definitely let’s folks know that it is loud and noisy.

Great place!! So so location
This place was great!! Well stocked and no false advertising. It has everything you need. Check-in and check-out was simple.
Here are a few things that would make this place a little better. Dark shades for night use. There is a lot of light that comes in at night.
I didn’t see any reviews about the location being noisy, but I can tell you one thing the bars right across the street are thumping their music till after 1am. This place has quiet hours from 10pm to 6am, but the memo didn’t get to the bars, that is for sure. Getting to sleep was a little painful because of that, but we were so tired from all of the walking that it didn’t wake us up. So, with that being said, this is a great place and a great location, but the bars were really loud even on Sunday night. Just realize you are in a college student area. We were in unit A, so maybe some of the other units weren’t dealing with that.
Communication was spot on when we had an issue.

First time to Charleston!
WOW! The unit was very clean and tidy! Great Location! We found ourselves loving how central the location was! We were able to walk to most places. However, when we did use Uber it was great being picked up or dropped off in the back. Not having to worry about traffic and getting hit by another car was a great option to have. So many great places to eat and drink so close made it hard to decide where to go!
Can't wait to to come back!

Lovely time on King Street
Beautiful place with a great location best everything Charleston had to offer. The room eat excellent although we weren't in there often. Great bed with a very Charleston decor with views of King Street. Starbucks is a quarter mile away tops with more places to eat delicious food than you'll have time for. We're ready for our trip back already!

Lovely apartment, but no hot water
The main concern we had staying at the apartment was there was no hot water.
We did reach out to the property manager and they tried to re-set, and we waited a while for it to heat up, but after 15 minutes it was still as cold as the first time we turned it on (multiple times throughout the weekend). Even considering that, the property itself was really nice in a central location and we had a great stay!

Beautiful place to access old and new old Charleston from
We found the place cozy and chic. It is in the center of things, but feels somehow hidden and secluded. You can see and feel the city, but it was quiet late at night and early in the morning. The StayDuvet team was great to work with. We have stayed with them before and will look to do so again.
