The Space: Set back off the busier streets of the Downtown Charleston area take a step into The Felix. With two bedrooms and two baths, this home is perfect for your four guests. Whether it be your small family or a girls weekend, this home is the perfect setting for your memorable Charleston getaway. As you walk through the doors find yourself in this airy home set back from the city happenings. The white backsplash of the wooden walls offsets the navy furniture giving way to the modern open floor plan from living room to kitchen. In the divide find the wooden bar with enough seats for the whole group. From the white wooden wall paneling to the white tiled backsplash in the kitchen, this home provides a welcoming bright layout to spend your afternoons relaxing after your walks along the battery and shopping adventures on King Street. The backyard is the perfect place to sit and unwind with a glass of wine or feel free to cozy up in one of the bedrooms with their Queen beds and smart TVS.

This first floor, main-level duplex unit has been completely upgraded! This open space has brand new furniture, kitchen appliances, classic brick flooring, all while throwing in a bit of historic Charleston with countertops, shelving, and ceiling beams all handcrafted from reclaimed heart pine wood that came from this very house dating back 170 years! The feeling of "fresh and mid-century modern" continue into the back half of the home, which consists of two bedrooms, a master and guest. Both bedrooms have new queen beds, linens, towels, and TV's for you to relax after a day of power sightseeing. Each bedroom also has its own private bathroom, both of which are new construction.

Lastly, you will find mini-splits (AC units) in each room so you can control the temperature to your comfort level. The goal of this property is to give you a feeling of comfort along with modern-day amenities, all while capturing a bit of history as you reside in a neighborhood and city that dates back to the 18th century.

No outdoor recreational fires are allowed at any Charleston properties.

You will have full access to the first level of the house (Unit A) and the driveway as well as the entire backyard and patio with fire pit and outdoor dining table. (Fire pits are not allowed to be used per the city fire department)

We loved the neighborhood. It was quiet and an easy to walk to breakfast and close to King St for shopping, etc. Although we didn't really 'cook,' the kitchen was well equipped and we did appreciate the open floor plan. (We opted to have meals out so as to sample Charleston's fine cuisine!) Bedrooms were private and beds very comfortable. Unfortunately and due to the weather, we really weren't able to enjoy the outside deck and seating area but it sure looked private and inviting. We would definitely stay at The Felix when we visit Charleston again! PS - the host was awesome and responded to questions immediately.

Great stay!

This unit was absolutely perfect! This was a girls trip and it provided just what we needed. Plenty of room for when you want privacy, but also big enough kitchen and living room for together time. Just a few blocks off of King so we were able to have a quiet environment but also close to everything for when we wanted to walk for a coffee, dinner or shopping. The unit itself was clean and the beds were so comfortable! Easy check in and check out as well.

Great location but construction

It was a good location, on the “quieter” side of the city but close to everything. Unfortunately they are gutting the old town house next door. The compressor from the tool machines makes it impossible to use the pretty outdoor space at all. Then when we were inside, the construction was throwing wood materials down to their driveway and hitting the house constantly. They start early and finish around 6pm. When I mentioned it to management they asked “which house”. That leads me to believe they don’t do “management inspections” very often, otherwise they would have know - would have been nice to know so we could chose another location. Also outdoor area need to be cleaned off prior to arrival- I tried cleaning it off and ruined my clothes. Outdoor pics need updating.

Great Experience!

We had a wonderful time staying at The Felix. It was very quiet, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor spaces. The location was very convenient to everything we did and we were surprised at how quiet it was for being right in town. We would definitely stay here again! We give it 5-stars and appreciate the host's level of communication!

Second time stay!

This was our second time staying in this property and it’s as good as it was the first time. The house is wonderful, comfortable, perfectly equipped, and the outdoor space is such a plus for sunning or sitting with friends. Love the neighborhood and the location. Very walkable to restaurants, bars and shopping, but on a quiet street. Would definitely stay again.

Great location but...

Fantastic location for walking to French Quarter and Historic District. Condo was very clean, great beds, nice fluffy towels, super walk in showers! But...smell of cleaning solution/ air freshener upon arrival was overpowering and overwhelming. It wasn't a bad smell just too much of it. One in our party highly sensitive to strong fragrance. We opened windows and went for an hour walk. Smell eomewhat better when we got back. Took several minutes to get hot water in bathrooms but finally got hot. Never got hot water at kitchen sink. Couldn't use patio table/chairs or seating area because they were so dirty. Really disappointed about that as the evenings were nice. It would have been great out there! All that to say the location is ideal and we expect to return

Cute first level of house

Cute house with nice gas lanterns for porch lights. Area seemed to have a few iffy spots/houses but generally nice. Great bagel shop around the corner. Smaller bedroom and bathroom need the paint refreshed and better lighting is needed in both bathrooms. Smaller bathroom has not much room on or in the vanity but the shower head and shower water pressure was great. overall we had a nice visit and found the neighborhood nice and quiet.

Property was exactly as listed, very well-appointed and a close walk to the action on King. Very clean and comfortable with added bonuses of off-street parking and an outdoor seating area. beautiful, comfortable home one mile from most attractions. Lovely neighborhood, parking, and accommodations. really appreciated the amenities such as the washer and dryer with detergent and basic cooking essentials. very comfortable beds and linens. just loved the sound machine! The outside area was lively just a bit buggy. Highly recommend!

Cute house and great location

The house was perfect for 2 women. It was so nice to have a lovely backyard to relax between adventures. The smaller bedroom was crowded with an additional air-conditioning unit on the floor. This was not shown in the photos. Other than that the property was as pictured. The kitchen supplies were sufficient but storage containers were lacking lids. Beds were confotrable and there was plenty of toiletry, cleaning, and paper supplies. We took advantage of privileges at The Wonderer between check out tome and our evening flight. This was a very nice perk. The Duvet concierge was amazingly helpful prior to our visit. They advised us about getting groceries delivered and put away before we arrived. They also gave great advise about Bag Valet so we could get out luggage taken to the airport while we went to The Wonderer. They also gave us great advise about sightseeing. I recommend this house and StayDuvet

Our stay was lovely. The house was well furnished, comfortable and we enjoyed the backyard. The property could use more supplies - garbage bags, glasses, TP, etc. The beds we're comfortable and shower amenities were fine. The patio furniture needed a good clean due to birds and leaves. The location was great - a short 3 blocks to King Street shops & bars.
