This elegant, beautifully renovated home is within easy walking distance of the Gaillard Auditorium, Marion Square, the Charleston Museum, South Carolina Aquarium, the Dewberry, several shops & restaurants as well as City parks & playgrounds. You can park your car in the private driveway upon checkin and not need the car again until it is time to checkout. When you return home each day after your Charleston adventures, you can retreat to the home's private courtyard, well stocked kitchen and elegant yet comfortable accommodations. The interior of the home features top-of-the-line appliances, custom cabinetry, hardwood floors, shiplap walls and beamed ceilings. There are two master suites located on the second floor of this stunning home. Reserve your stay at this incredible home now -- this impeccably designed, historic home will not be available for long.

* There is one, off-street parking spot for a COMPACT CAR on a shared, side-by-side parking area. Guest of Liberty Treehouse share a driveway with the main house. Please note the driveway is narrow and you will have to drive in reverse to exit the driveway. Oversized cars, trucks, vans and RVs cannot utilize this parking space and must park on the street.

Liberty Tree House is located in a detached, 2200 square foot cottage behind the main house at 28 Charlotte Street. Slowly drive down the driveway towards the back of the lot and look for unit 28A. Guests access Liberty Tree House by entering the front door via an electronic door lock. Once you enter the front door, you will find the living room, sun room (including its access to the private courtyard), the kitchen, guest bedroom and half bathroom. Take the stairs near the kitchen to access both of the home's master suites on the second floor. There is a Bosch washing machine and dryer located in a closet off of the bonus room.

NO PETS. NO SMOKING. Tenant must be 25 years old. NO PARTIES, EVENTS, PERFORMING ARTISTS OR BANDS ALLOWED AT ANY TIME. You may not exceed the maximum occupancy at any time — day or night. These are causes for eviction with no refund, and may damage our ability to offer the home for future guests exposing you to liability. This is a residential home -- please be respectful of our neighbors.

Please note due to permitting restrictions the maximum occupancy for Liberty Tree House is 4 adults and 2 kids OR 4 unrelated people. Three unrelated couples may not rent this home.

Best girlfriends major milestone bday trip

We had a wonderful and very fun trip to Charleston. This house was a major part of that. The layout, the space, and it was very well appointed throughout. Very clean and the location was great. We walked most everywhere we went. Just blocks from Kings, Market and Meeting street. We did take Lyft a hand full of times and they were readily available for groups of 6. Definitely should be high on your list to stay in this fun and historic city!

Tennis weekend

Six of us stayed to see the Charleston Open tennis. Included were five adults (two seniors) and one infant. Property was perfect for us with the right mix of beds, wonderful gathering spots in the kitchen and living room, and location accessible to a variety of areas of interest for adults and children. It was also immaculately clean.

There were 4 of us for a Thanksgiving Weekend. The location was perfect.. walkable to many great places. Accommodations were excellent.. in particular, the kitchen was well stocked with everything one would need to make a huge meal! Perfect.

Perfect for a long weekend girls trip

Beautiful property with close proximity to downtown! The house was impeccably cleaned, furnished gorgeously, and the hosts left a lovely bottle of wine and cookies to welcome us. We loved being able to either drive or walk to King Street if we wanted too! Just be sure to rent a compact car. The driveway is fine but not terribly wide but the parking space provided can be tight but absolutely fine with a compact car! Would absolutely rebook here!

We travel quite a bit and stay in VRBO's alot and this house was in our top 5!! Well appointed, quiet, off street parking, comfortable beds and 2 Kings which works so well for 2 adult couples. Great neighborhood close enough to many attractions, but far enough so it's not noisy. We would definately stay here again!!

Well-appointed, comfortable home. Quiet neighborhood, yet very walkable to restaurants, bars, museum and ferry tour. Single parking spot, but we were able to park second car on street for free a block away. Very responsive owner/management. Would definitely rent again.

A vacation rental extraordinaire

Most rental properties that I have stayed in are furnished in flea market style. Liberty Tree House is tasteful in every way, Every thing is well chosen and attractive; the kitchen has top-of-the-line appliances. There is even a panini maker! Anyone would be delighted to stay in this house on a quiet street convenient to the restaurants downtown and only a short hop to the beaches.

Our stay at Liberty Tree House was fabulous! The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Perfect home away from home! The only thing the house was missing is a full length mirror...very minor! Loved our stay and would highly recommend it!

Hidden treasure!

We loved our stay here! The property was just as described and super clean. They were very proactive with check in communications and even texted us a couple hours ahead of check in that it was ready. The location was perfect. We walked to all the shopping and restaurants and even had a pedi cab pick us up in front of the house one night. Highly recommend!
