Terrific location close to historic district. Great to have FREE onsite parking! We were happy to be able to Uber every place very cheaply. So cool to stay in such a great historic home with wonderful architectural features and yet all modern conveniences. We will definitely come back and stay longer.

Enjoyed out stay at this place, interesting neighborhood near many restaurants, etc. Places we wanted to visit were short drives away.On the downside, we could not connect to wifi with phones or tablets until we were given a dongle for a hotspot--it didn't function well either and would not connect part of the day.

Amazing home from the 1600’s in a perfect location in downtown Charleston. Comfy bed, nice large porch and great restaurants and cafes within a few minutes walk.Quick response, and early checkin. Would do it again.

The neighborhood and location overall are great. So convenient to restaurants, shops, and cool sight seeing stuff. Dealt with some issues that were handled quickly by the concierge staff. Would definitely return to stay, but maybe in a bigger unit next time.

This was our first with VRBO we were so excited about this trip.Things didn’t turn out how we were expecting. First of all the communication stinks it takes forever to hear back from someone it’s not the host that you hear back from it’s a company. Second of all the pictures have not been updated probably in in at least 8 years. We had such a hard time closing door in restroom it’s so old. The window in restroom allows other ppl to see you while showering. We had to put towels up to get privacy. The master bedroom gets not traffic noise break whatsoever. It is extremely loud. We were there to relax and all we heard was traffic day and night. We left a day early because we were unhappy with place. I will be adding pictures and will not be coming back do not recommend this place.

Perfect location
This location could not have been any better. There are five wonderful restaurants within a couple hundred yards from the house. There is also a very neat grocery kind of across the street that has all kinds of local beer, produce and dairy. I strongly recommend this house for a great convenient stay!

Comfortable and walkable
We enjoyed walking downtown for shopping, sightseeing and dining! It was great to leave the car parked in it's designated space behind the house! Plenty of room to spread out. We were there Halloween week and expected we might hear more street noise, but it was fairly quiet, even over the weekend. The kitchen was small but well-appointed for quick meal prep; be sure to bring your own S&P though! We had to swat mosquitoes in the apartment several times over our stay; not sure where they were coming from. Other than that, a very comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Beautiful place!
This place was so great! It had such a wonderful taste of the Charleston charm. It had such unique details that made the stay more enjoyable. The bedrooms were very comfortable. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Convenient walk to many restaurants and stores. Also love the large front porch.

Loved the location! Close to downtown, local restaurants. Car traffic was a little loud and lots of Bachelorette parties going on, but understandable being in a city. We LOVED eating breakfast and dinner on the Piazza. We would definitely recommend this property and return to it in the future!

Delightful home away from home
The place surpassed my expectations. Very cozy and well edited. We enjoyed how practical it was making us a lil' bkfast before going sightseeing. Well equipped kitchen as well !
Beds, pillows and overall bedding were extremely comfortable. Wished I had stayed more nights.

Cute place in great location!
Do I wish this place had a 2nd bathroom for 4 girls? Yes. But did we make it work? Yes. Location is great. Checkin was super easy. Beds were super comfy. Could have used more comfy seating in the living room, more mirrors, and more outlets/plugs, but overall it was a great place to stay and I would stay there again.

For the price was mediocre
Overall I would rate 3.0 and would never stay here again for my own preferences. For example, the bathroom is super tiny and for some reason they have decided to hang a shower curtain over shower window and then there was a dirty shower curtain where one normally hangs. I don’t know about you, but I’m super weird about strange shower curtains actually touching me. So it was gross. Also, there was ZERO water pressure. Also, I went to make coffee but chose no to because it still had dirty coffee in it and no filters to be found for coffee maker, yet they have coffee for u. Lastly, the front porch was nicely furnished but you could tell no one was wiping down that area. The cushions were covered in dirt and dust. Great location but that isn’t enough.
