This charming home is perfect for groups looking to experience the best of Charleston's vibrant nightlife, with trendy bars, restaurants, and entertainment just steps away! While you’ll love the convenience of being so close to the action, please note there may be occasional city noise, especially during weekends. Enjoy a memorable stay in Charleston, surrounded by the energy of downtown!

The Space:
Spacious living and kitchen area with seating for your group. **Amazing lower level house for a group of friends or a bachelorette weekend. Or a family wanting to spread out a bit.**

Sleeps 8 as follows:

Parking: This unit offers ONE off-street parking spot. Additional parking is located a block away in the City of Charleston parking garage at a charge of $18 per day.

This is unit is fully licensed and legal with the City of Charleston under STR Operational Permit OP2024-05413 and Business License BL040627-04-2025

Guest Access:
Each of our vacation rentals is accessed by a keyless door code for ease of entry, and allows for a zero-interaction check-in/check-out process. A door code specific to each guests’ stay will be provided the day prior to your check-in. If you have any questions about directions or access to the property, our team would be happy to assist.

Once you confirm your reservation at The Wonderer, you will receive a link to book your time to visit the Campus. Please note, all fitness classes and ticketed events are offered based on availability and may come at an additional cost. Day Passes are available with required pre-registration via a link that will be shared with you upon booking.

Day pass reservations at The Wonderer for guests of this property are completely free of charge. The Wonderer’s on-site parking lot is a paid lot, however there is free on-street parking in the area subject to availability.

Please note: availability at The Wonderer is not guaranteed without a confirmed reservation. The number of available day passes remains strictly first-come, first-serve. If you plan to enjoy The Wonderer anytime between April 15th - September 1st, we strongly suggest booking in advance to guarantee access.

The Wonderer has a minimum age requirement of 25 years old (unless you're a member, a guest of a member, or receive a special exception from club management).

With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree-lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston's classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun and or relaxing vacation. The culinary scene for which Charleston has become so famous is just steps away. The fantastic restaurants, shopping, and nightlife of Upper King Street are close enough to walk, but far enough to not keep you up all night.

The DASH trolley is free in Charleston. There are 3 routes, and two of the routes have stops just blocks from this property. More information can be found with the route map on the DASH website.

PETS - As much as we love the four-legged members of your family, we do not allow pets at this property.

SMOKING - No smoking is allowed. Violators will be fined for in-room smoke damages. Smoking is only permitted outside of the property at least 10 feet away please.

LUGGAGE DROP-OFF - For guests with early arrival or late departure flights, luggage dropoff is allowed upon request for free. I

IMPORTANT NOTE ON POTENTIAL FOR NOISE: Please note that there is a noise ordinance in this neighborhood from 10pm to 8am daily, so if you are enjoying yourself please stay inside and be considerate of the neighbors. Our location offers the vibrant energy of a lively urban setting, with fantastic dining, entertainment, and music venues nearby, including those on King Street, just a block away. While we comply with the city's noise ordinance and cannot control external noise, we advise guests that street noises and typical urban sounds are to be expected. We do not provide discounts or refunds for noise-related complaints. By renting this unit, you acknowledge and accept the potential for noise as described.

EXTENUATING CIRCUMSTANCES HURRICANE POLICY: If a Mandatory Evacuation Order is issued by the Governor during the dates of your stay specifically for the county in which the property is located, the extenuating circumstances policy will be in effect, and we will refund any deposits or payments paid by the guest. We shall have no additional liability concerning the reservation. However, if a Mandatory Evacuation Order is NOT issued, then THE STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT SHOULD THE GUEST CHOOSE TO CANCEL THEIR RESERVATION. If inclement weather in any other part of the country or world during the dates of stay prohibits or alters the guest (or any individuals in the guest's group) from traveling to the property, a refund will not be issued, and we shall have no liability with respect to the reservation. During months when there is a potential for inclement weather, such as hurricane season, we strongly recommend guests purchase travel insurance.

If you’re looking for a place to stay that is close to bars and shopping and you are with a small party, this may be it. We had a family of six (all adults). Bedrooms are sooo small—not enough room to move around. The main places were clean (kitchen and baths) but we had to clean the ceiling fan. It looked like above the doors and the corners on the floors had not been cleaned in a while. Parking is limited (only one spot) and if you need more you will have to use the closest garage. Beds were comfortable and the AC worked well.

There were 6 adults for a 4 night trip.The rooms were quite small, but it was fine since we were really only sleeping there. It was super clean and a perfect location. There was enough coffee to get us through a couple days when we arrived. Lots of clean towels and linens available. The hosts were very accommodating and let us leave our luggage until it was time to head to the airport. They responded quickly to any questions.I’d highly recommend staying here.

This was a great location for a quick getaway weekend. There are plenty of great restaurants in walking distance. Charlestown has plenty to do in the city and in surrounding areas, this was a great home base. The beds were comfy and the apartment was well appointed. Three bedrooms offered plenty of privacy for everyone to have their own space. I would definitely book here again on a return trip.

Unit D was absolutely wonderful! Had everything needed! Spacious and comfortable! Walking distance to King St. Parking was a bit tight but doable. Great kitchen! Thank you for the mixer! I was able to make the wedding cake for our son's wedding! Would definitely stay again!!

Great location and very clean! Beds were comfortable. We drive a large SUV and the parking spot was perfectly fine and just right by our door. We were able to walk just a few blocks to King Street. Living room chairs were not the most comfortable but, certainly wouldn’t stop me from staying again.

As parents of college students in Charleston we have stayed at many hotels and rentals when visiting. However, we loved the close proximity to campus and King Street at the Moultrie. Everything was easy: check-in, communication and ease of use of the kitchen - has everything you need. PLUS parking outside the front door! Highly recommend.

Cute place, just a short walk to King Street, the park, restaurants and shopping. Very clean and well-kept. Comfy beds and pillows. Management was very accommodating to us, letting us check in a bit early, which we very much appreciated. Would definitely stay again!

This condo was just as described. The place was very clean, QUIET, comfy beds and plush bath towels. It is a short walk from the north end of King Street which gives you a chance stroll the many stores as you make your way down to many of the tourist attractions. We parked our car in the provided parking place and walked everywhere- we felt very safe. A few blocks up the street we found a cute little breakfast spot called Island Provisions. Highly recommend this unit.

I loved this place! It was right around the corner from everything. And the unit was spacious enough for the three of us to have our own personal space without tripping over each other. It was tastefully decorated, with everything we needed to have a good time. The only thing I’d suggest is a physical document with interesting facts and places to see, and reminding people about the shuttle and it’s stops. I’d definitely stay here again!

This property was reasonably priced and in a good location for our work group to be able to walk to convention events being held at the Gaillard Center downtown. We were able to walk everywhere including some great breakfast and nightlife spots. The parking space was awesome to have as well since we drove into town. There is not a lot of living room hangout space so it's a great base of operations but if you're planning on actually spending a lot of time at the property you may consider something with more living space rather than the really good bedroom and bathroom count that this property offers for the money. Had a couple of minor things that we needed to ask about and the team at stay duvet was extremely responsive and had answers for us almost immediately would definitely recommend them to anybody looking to stay in Charleston.
