Petite maison de lac / cabane de poisson s'évader

Notre petite maison est un travail en cours mais reste une excellente escapade. Rampe et jetée de bateau de la communauté privée. 600 pieds dans la rue de la cabine. Beaucoup de stationnement. Belle piscine communautaire avec petite aire de jeux adjacente. Piscine fermée le lundi. Cour arrière boisée avec foyer. 6 personnes. Lit King size SLEEP Number Bed! Futon fait un lit double. Chambre avec lits superposés. Le lit superposé supérieur n'a pas de rail de lit. La couchette du bas convient aux tout-petits. Cuisine complète comprenant un mixeur pour les smoothies ou votre café à toute épreuve. Les ponts en dehors de la chambre. Hotspot pour le wifi. Veuillez fumer à l'extérieur pour respecter les autres. Venez vous évader et profitez du lac Palestine à Chandler Tx.

Our pup loved the fenced in backyard. The property backs up to the woods, so we saw deer every morning. The neighborhood was a little run down but quiet. It’s a short drive to the lake. It was pretty clean, but it is a lake house that backs up to the woods. So, you shouldn’t expect spotless outside— lots of spiderwebs and dust. We were easily able to use the kitchen to cook. All the utensils were there, and they even provided some coffee. My one suggestion for improvement would be cleaning up the backyard a bit. Some of the chairs are old and broken, but I am aware that the harsh environment makes it difficult to maintain everything in a pristine condition. Overall, it was a great place to travel with pets and worked out nicely for our visit with family in Flint.

Getaway with my husband and our puppy.

Love the stay. They made it easy for check in. The home was comfortable. My puppy loved the fecned in backyard. And the fact it was minutes away from the lake was great. Thank you to the owners we enjoyed our stay.

Cute little lake cabin

We enjoyed our little getaway with our pups. Loved the fenced in yard for them! Area was a little rough, but I'd stay again. They had firewood there for us to use which was so nice and convenient.

Get away comfort

We have lived in both AK and TX and used to staying in cabins and this cabin met our expectations, very homey and comfortable. Our dog loved romping around in the yard. We understand that this is a cabin/fishing get away; however, the cabin needs a good cleaning. I spent some of my time wiping down the kitchen counters and items sitting on the counter as well as the seating in the kitchen.

Decent well outfitted lake house, close to a boat ramp. Whoever left those bad reviews was probably expecting a 5 star hotel. It's a lake house with everything you need. We used it for fishing a bass tournament and was satisfied. Nothing fancy, but just what we needed.

Family trip

This place was a perfect fit for our quick Thanksgiving weekend visit to the Tyler area. We were able to host our daughter and her friends for Thanksgiving lunch and have our dog along on the trip. The fenced back yard was great!

Check Street View on Google first. Filthy. No owner response.

We were shocked at the filth- dead roaches, toenail clippings and copper wiring pieces in the rugs, not a single lamp had a working bulb, the filth, the grime, the filthy rugs, the toothpaste cap & dirty coins on bathroom floor, the musty smelling & wrinkled sheets (clean?) were enough for me and my daughter to leave after an hour. The string lights in the back porch did not work and we arrived late at night. We had to search for the lockbox on the back porch in total darkness. 2 ladies in an extremely sketchy neighborhood, late at night, with no working porch lights for safety. I have pictures of everything I mention. I contacted the owner and told her that it was unacceptable and we would not be staying a single night of our 6 night reservation. NO Response from her. Perhaps a bunch of men fishermen wouldn’t mind “camping” like this for a fishing trip, but it is completely unacceptable for anyone who cares about cleanliness or personal safety. I mention safety because we were shocked at what was to the right and left of the driveway and cabin. An abandoned car on cinder block with a blue tarp thrown over it and tires leaned up against it- all in overgrown brush. The outer buikding/ shed looked like something from a horror movie. The dilapidated and partially boarded up mobile home with a light on (less than 20 ft away) was the final straw when it came to us feeling safe. My greatest tip if you are thinking of staying here is to do a Google street view. Beware.

Inside the house is ok. Outside all the neighbors were plugged into the house taking the electric and there was trash all around the drive way. Including a camper and broke down Cars.

Cozy country cabinesque just like home

Mimosa cabin house where rustic meets comfort with easy access of a few minutes walk down the path for our family to do kayaking & fishing by the lake-getaway home with ALL the trimmings of being at home inside and out and easy BBQ grilling in the backyard, great fenced up area for our Labrador baby dog, kids and entire family had a blast playing board games, stargazing, and counting beautiful birds in nature-scape yard over this holiday, so we will definitely come back again!

Texas High School Bass Association State Championship

This was our second stay at this property. We were at the house back-to-back weekends to prepare for my son's bass fishing tournament and then compete in the 2 day event on 5/18 and 5/19. The house was perfect for our needs as the private neighborhood boat ramp allowed us to launch near our primary fishing location.

Cute cabin getaway

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this cute cabin. The kitchen was perfect for making breakfasts and heating other meals. My husband also used the charcoal grill for delicious hamburgers.

Lake Palestine Fishing Trip

My son and I spent three days on Lake Palestine pre-fishing for the Texas High School Bass Association state tournament. The house was perfect for our needs. We were able to back a 21' boat and trailer plus truck right next to the front porch for battery charging and gear prep/organization. We also had access to 3 private boat ramps in the neighborhood which saved us money and travel time. We are scheduled to stay again the following weekend for the tournament and are looking forward to our stay.

Stay Away

Feral cats everywhere, apparently they’ve been let in the place, reeked like cat piss, my coworker was allergic to cats , spent the first night breaking out in hives, eating Benadryl. Left after one night. The second bedroom is a walk in closet that they were able to fit bunk beds in, cobwebs, dust and downright filthy. The bedsheets were clean, had to bury my face in them to fall asleep so I couldn’t smell the cat piss. My advice, burn the place down.

Used the property primarily for sleeping. Word of Caution: Some of the carpet edges are curled upward and cause a tripping hazard. Be very careful. The house was very clean and had everything you would need for a long stay, dishes, silverware, etc..

Quiet cabin retreat

We loved our 5 night stay at this cabin by Lake Palestine. Everything you could possibly need for a short stay and probably longer too! Loved all the television viewing options as we spent most of our time indoors. We were shocked not to see one insect inside the cabin as it is right by a wooded area. We were disappointed by the pool as it was full of insects and the dock to fish is definitely in disrepair. However, the cabin itself was awesome and we truly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking gadgets and stores were very close for supplies. Overall, would recommend!

Absolutely wonderful

The house was so cozy. We definitely used the deck with the lights. We walked to lake and collected shells, and the fishing was great for my kids. We got a couple of laughs from the signs on the wall. The property owners were so sweet and helpful. Just a great experience.

Family fishing getaway

Great cozy family fishing getaway spot. Loved having our fur babies and family all together. The only drawback was the community boat ramp is not functional as it hasn't been kept up with. But other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our quick family getaway. Easy access to convenience stores and larger towns with shopping available.
