This was the worst experience at Best Western I ever had. The room smelled like body odor and when I asked the receptionist Kess Blatter to come in and check, she agreed that it smells like body odor. She also mentioned that an old man “a regular” stayed in that room the night before. She said she couldn’t give me another room unless I pay $80 more. I asked her to have the room cleaned again while I was gone. After my return the room still smelled the same even though she claimed she cleaned it. Since I was staying 2 nights I asked for one night refund and Lysol. She said no to the refund and brought me an empty bottle of Lysol. I went to Walgreens and bought my own Lysol so I can breathe in the room. I asked for manager ( Manisha Patel ) and was told that she is managing 3 hotels and she was unable to talk. I asked to talk to the manager after 10 pm I was told that she was sleeping and couldn’t talk to me. I am still waiting for the manager to call.
I contacted Expedia the following morning and the representative Daniela Kris called the hotel. The hotel lied about the whole situation and told Daniela that I asked for an upgrade to a room with jacuzzi and there for they couldn’t do anything for me. I wish customer service would come back once again. I didn’t think I asked anything that should’ve happened in the first place. Clean and fresh room. Booking with third party will get you maybe the best price but also the worst room. I packed and left.
