Excellent little studio
Fantastic little studio right in the heart of town. Location could not be better. Inside it is extremely cosy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Unfortunately outside the first week in January it becomes a bit expensive for what it is (imo).

Great apartment and location - only issue was arrival challenge
Other reviews are accurate in terms of the apartment ammenities and the location could not be more central. While it is right in the middle of everything, being on the lower level down facing the river, the apartment was very quiet and relaxing. One note to improve arrival - make sure to clarify/print/save the instructions on how to access. We received a link to the instructions, but had a problem getting these onsite due to poor cell coverage. You need to navigate through a few doors and down a flight a stairs to get to the apartment. If traveling with a lot of luggage, keep this in mind. Otherwise, it was great and the management company was very helpful and only a 5 minute walk away if you need anything. Loft bed worked for us, but only 5' ceiling height. About a 5 minute walk to the ski bus stops. Views of Mont Blanc and Aiguille du Midi from the patio are awesome. Would definitely go back - enjoyed our stay.

Central and very convenient for everything in Chamonix
Chamonix was our last stop on a tour of Europe that started 4 weeks earlier. Being returning customers we booked the Loulou apartment after receiving an email re: last minute discounted bookings. In terms of the booking process I cannot praise CAY highly enough - we were kept informed at every step (we did take a bit of time to decide on the finishing point of our trip) and the booking process was very efficient.
With regard to the apartment it is in an incredibly central location, off the Main Street but overlooking the river. This makes it very quiet in terms of noise form bars etc. Of course the river is fast flowing and is noisy but it is quite soothing and you can hardly hear it when the doors to the balcony are closed. There is a great view from the balcony of Mont Blanc and you will be happy sitting there gazing upwards towards the mountains.
The apartment has everything you need if you want to self-cater. I would point out that, as Summer visitors, the apartment can get quite warm as there is no air-con. The other thing to point out is that if you have any mobility issues this apartment will not be suitable; accessing the bed is via a steep ladder and the mezzanine roof is very low (you will not be able to stand). The lack of air-con means it can get pretty warm up there if you are a Summer visitor.
Overall, we really enjoyed our time there. The balcony by the river is a cool spot and the location meant everything that Chamonix has to offer is readily available. Having stayed with CAY previously I can wholeheartedly recommend them as a company to deal with.

The perfect base in Chamonix
Lou Lou apartment couldn't be more perfectly positioned in the centre of Chamonix. Directly on the main pedestrian street, but at the back of the building so not only is it quite and peaceful, the balcony sits right on the river, giving a very welome breeze! (And the most amazing view of Mont Blanc too) A mini-market directly opposite and countless bars and retaurants within walking distance. Super handy for the Plan-Praz/Brevent lifts, the Augille du Midi and the train station. Inside there's everything you could possibly need - all the kitchen appliances you could want and a surprising amount of storage for such a compact appartment. Having visited in the summer we're now looking forward to booking again during winter, I can imagine the apartment would be the perfect cozy place after a day in the snow. Perfect all round!

Stay at Lou Lou apartment Chamonix
The good points are that this property is located in a central place. The view from the balcony is good although the trees could be pruned to make it better. There was building materials and equipment left on the the balcony which did not create the right atmosphere. The mezzanine is difficult to access and you cannot stand up. We could live with that but unfortunately there was dust everywhere. If you ran your finger on a surface it would be covered in dust. I think the flooring was recently replaced which may have been the problem but the dust was everywhere. This spoilt the whole experience for us which was a shame. Some TLC and it could be a good apartment. Finally the staff were friendly and helpful.

Amazing accommodation amazing views
The accommodation was absolutely beautiful and the views from balcony were breathtaking. I cant wait to go back to lou lou it was all that I imagined and more . Nice apartment right in the centre
Location is probably the main selling point of this one, it's absolutely central to everything in Chamonix. Despite the location the apartment is very peaceful, there is no street noise and just a very low level background noise from the river which runs directly past the balcony.
The kitchen is nicely set up for cooking your own meals, plenty of decent sized pans, sharp knives etc which can often be lacking in self-catered accomodation. Nearest supermarket is approx 50m from the front door and this opens earlier than the bigger ones too.
The lounge area is very homely and comfortable. Getting up to the bedroom was no problem for me and there was just enough headroom for it not to be annoying. ChamonixAllYear were always very quick to respond to my questions and everyone I spoke to or met was friendly and helpful. I'd certainly consider staying in Lou Lou again and have no hesitation recommending ChamonixAllYear.

Perfect location and cosy
With my partner not being a skier, we needed something that would suit us both. For me, the apartment had a ski locker, was less than a 1 min walk to Chamonix Centre bus stop, giving access up/down the valley, and was on the doorstep to bars and restaurants. For my partner, the apartment was cosy, gave access to Chamonix town centre, and was a walk from the key tourist attractions in the area. TV and internet were good (could watch BBC Scotland!) and decent cooking facilities. Would definitely stay again. As noted by others, despite bring in town centre the apartment is very quiet and peaceful.

One of the best views ever
Thank you so much to all the staff at Chamonix All Year for making my first stay in Chamonix one to always remember, Lou Lou apartment had everything I needed and the view was breathtaking.
Perfect one bedroom apartment right in the heart of the town so close to everything but far enough away to have a very peaceful stay, love the good use of space in this apartment which offers to sleep 4 people if needed.
UK TV with Netflicks for a cosy night, made it feel like a home from home.
I will be back and will be booking Lou Lou again for sure.

Everything you need in the centre of town!
I chose this chalet cause it had an oven and bath and was located in the centre. The appartment is cosy and warm and with sky tv and a selection of dvd’s Made for a relaxed night in after a tough day on the slopes. Overall the flat was clean, well equipped, and spacious. We were 3 adults and had a comfortable stay. Ski bus is close and goes to all resorts. The added bonus is the Poco Loco downstairs serving one of the best burgers in town. The Chamonix All Year team that manage the property were excellent, meeting us after our flight was delayed and running through the resorts, buses and even apres hot spots. No stress on arrival or departure. With the balcony over the river I could see this being a good option for summer too. Would definitely stay here again.

An excellent week in a very cosy apartment!
We had a very enjoyable week at Lou Lou. Situated on the ground floor, right in the heart of Chamonix centre, yet very quiet with no noise from outside when the windows were closed. Excellent location for the many shops and restaurants and just a short walk to bus stops for ski lifts etc. The pretty river runs by the outside seating area at the back of the apartment which, although somewhat overlooked from the other side of the river, was not a problem for us. The accommodation itself was very authentic and comfortable, with plenty of space for two people, although you could sleep 4 people using the sofas in the lounge. The layout worked well, with plenty of storage space (including a separate lockable cupboard in the hallway for ski equipment etc). The mezzanine bedroom, although height restrictive (you can sit up, but not quite stand!), worked well with plenty of half height wardrobe space and sockets. A very good use of space. The kitchen was well equipped with appliances and utensils, although a microwave would have been useful and a few more wine glasses!. A warm alpine feel was created with lots of wood, fur throws and cushions. In all we had a really lovely week, and would happily return there. Chamonix All Year staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Beautiful Apartment
We had a good stay in this lovely apartment. It's very well equipped and designed. The only thing we can complain about is the mattress upstairs. It was way to firm. After two nights, we rolled out the sofa bed and slept on it. Not too comfortable but way better than the mattress upstairs.

Overall Lou Lou apartment was very good, don't be put off by the mezzanine as really no problem.
The balcony was great & the views of Mont Blanc fantastic. We loved the location, very central for bars, restaurants & shops but still quiet when in apartment. Close to chair lifts too. Would say, entrance & hall area to apartment could do with some upgrading as could put some people off. There seemed to be a musty smell in apartment, we were very lucky as it was hot so, we opened up patio doors & smell soon disappeared.
We used CVT transfers from Geneva which were very good.
Would have no hesitation using Chamonix All Year & CVT for our next trip to Chamonix.

Convenient Location
Apartment Lou Lou is well located for the bars and restaurants in Chamonix Centre and the bus stop. The balcony looking out on the river is great.
I have stayed with Chamonix All Year before and their service is excellent. We arrived a few hours before the apartment was ready and were able to leave our luggage at their shop until it was ready. Really nice friendly service.

Riverside relaxation!
Great little apartment. Loved the location right on the river, with balcony where we could relax and watch the torrents with a blanket and a cup of tea on stormy days. Great central location, but feels 'away from it all'. Only downside was lots of bumped heads on extremely low mezzanine ceiling... Not something I am used to being just over 5 ft! Would definitely return though ( but may bring my ski helmet despite coming in the summer and wear it to bed!)
