« Not as advertised; teeny. The photos made it look spacious. The front yard was being raked and seeded for grass when we arrived so there were broken branches on our path. The deck, table and chairs had not been cleaned and we're dirty and covered with leaf litter. The room had no comfy chair, only a floor lamp with a bare bulb. No hooks for hanging anything and no coat hangers. We left to find another place to stay and have been promised a refund that has not come through. Very disappointed! »

The unit was very nice, was hoping to be able to check in before 4, as we had all of our luggage with us and didn't want to go into town with it still in vehicle but Host stated unit was ready until a little after 3, this Host doesn't send out door code until unit is available. (Previous unit in Bar Harbor, we were sent info. 3 days in advance) There was hair products and bath soap provided, In the kitchen, there were some misc....

« The location was a 10 minute drive from Boothbay and the rooms were newly renovated and very cute. But some of the furniture was coming apart during normal use. Biggest concerns were as follows:1. Very poor communication from host. They didn't provide us with entry information until the morning of, and didn't answer our messages. We ended up calling VRBO the night before as we were scared from the lack of contact. They got ahold of the host who finally answered us the night before arrival. At...

« A great property at a reasonable price. Jeff is the best host, and the communication couldn't be better. Had a small issue with the coffee maker and it was resolved within a few hours. Reserve this property with confidence that you'll be in good hands. Excellent! Note...the location of the property can be a little confusing until you understand it. « The cottage was great but the check-in was very stressful. Owner did not send email with info until Saturday morning and it went to my Spam folder. No one was on site when I first got there but someone working in the garden got hold of the owner and let me in. Website says check-in was after 3PM but owner said it was 5PM. Needs to update that on website. After a10-hour drive I was not happy. »

« I absolutely LOVED staying here and wished we had booked a longer stay! The cottage was so sweet and nice. It was exceptionally clean. The couch was wonderful and the TV was great. « If you’re looking for a small, secluded, modern-rustic house for a small group, this is one to consider. Great views and location. House was VERY clean; a few housekeeping “issues” were identified and relayed to Jeffrey who was quick to respond. Although we only stayed 2 nights, Jeffrey was a top-notch host who was in constant contact to include dining and activity suggestions to make sure our stay was an enjoyable one……which it was!!!!! »
