« Our room and bed were comfortable. There was a generous amount of tea and coffee provided. Toiletries also provided. Parking is free and secure with tightly angled entry and exit gates. Unfortunately we were allocated an accessible room so the sink was very low and shower was behind a drape curtain. People moving around the corridor overnight were extremely noisy. »
« Great property. Amazing view of Bathurst. Clean and tidy rooms. There is also a kitchenette on both floors with microwave.
The outdoor barbecue/sitting area was beautifully presented with volleyball court, kids play area and sitting fire pit and I loved the Lavender. Kids loved seeing all the kangaroos and rabbits in the morning. Definitely coming back Thank you Goldfields Resort. »
« Unfortunately, our experience at the North Parkes Hotel was disappointing.
Before booking, we called the hotel directly and were quoted $150. We then found the room cheaper through Expedia. When we questioned the price difference, we were told that they were “not a charity”, which we found to be quite an unnecessary and dismissive response.
We booked specifically because we were travelling from Parkes through to Brisbane and expected to be able to have dinner at the hotel restaurant....
