« The hotel is old but well kept in terms of cleanliness. We are used to having toothbrush kits available even in small inns so we were disappointed that it was not available here. No drinking water too and resto was not open early for breakfast. »

« gorgeous place up in the woods. you wont see a neighbor or traffic. nice little brook out back with an excellent sound. Front porch rockin' chairs were a favorite. Franklin WV is 4 miles away with a few restaurants and groceries if you care. Kitchen was great and had all the necessary things. turn off all the lights and step outside at night and it is pitch black except for the stars. WIFI was very handy and TV had Samsung streaming apps. »

« Felt just like home the moment we stepped in. Very cozy and comfortable. We really loved the white noise box in the bed room. It really helped us sleep and the fully stocked kitchen was great for all of our needs. The couch in the living room was very comfortable and both tvs in the complex were a nice touch for our stay. Overall, we were both very happy with everything. »

« Did not like all the ad ons to the base room rate. Valet service was slow. Delivery of luggage to room took too long. Initial room AC didn't work properly so I changed rooms. Friday dinner buffet excludid a la carte ordering and did show on the on line menu. I moved to the noisy lounge for dinner. Martha's market had terrific scones and pastries. New room was quiet and amenities were fine. Beautiful scenery when walking around the resort »
