« This was a very poor experience. We had no water for shower, and no water in kitchen sink. We checked in late at night, got up to take showers, and weren't able to do so because there was no water. We'd rented the cabin to go to a wedding and weekend events. Checked out an hour before checkout time to get to the event--unshowered-- and called the host, who didn't pick up. Left a message reporting the problem, and then we were told that we should have spoke to him to have him fix the problem...

« The two bedroom cottage I stayed in at Cottage Place during a relocation was really nice. It was very quiet, comfortable, and had everything you could want for a relaxing and memorable stay. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the location right next to Squam Lake was terrific. I look forward to staying there again in the Fall. »

« “Cozy”—accurate description, kind of tight inside. Host was extremely responsive, replaced broken toaster, but could not get microwave fixed during days we were there (part delivered, but it didn’t fit). Perhaps it was growth spurt due to weather, but weeds had really popped up in lawn. Hot humid weather while we were there, but minisplit HVAC handled it. »

« This is a classic old-style cabin that reminded us of our childhood family trips in the 60’s. It’s not new, but a heck of a lot of fun if you’re in the right head space. Easily walked to town for dinner and to the shore. Clean and had everything we needed. »
