It was a lovely little hotel in a cute village, the staff were super friendly and the breakfast was good with lots of choice. The room was nice & the bed was comfy with tea/coffee, iron, hairdryer etc. However the room is definitely in need of a major refresh in decorating. The hot tap barely came out, the shower head holder was so loose it came off the wall, there was some mouldy patches in the shower and one of the towels had what looked like blood stains. Other than those odd issues, the rest of the stay was lovely and we would stay there again!

For a hotel which is on the C2C trail, fails badly. Limited evening meals, No breakfast till 10am don't really work. Needs a very good refurbishment and better service to meet customers needs.
