Highly recommend staying here. This cottage is in a great location, within minutes of lakes. It is clean, quiet, and has all the amenities. This was the ideal location for a long weekend away from home.

This is our second time here and it is a slice of heaven. A beautiful piece of property. We spent each of our evenings in the back yard at the fire pit. The house is clean and well appointed (even with a S’Mores kit). The hosts are excellent. A fantastic VRBO.

The house was super clean and the property is beautiful! If you are wanting to go on vacation and get away from everything, this is the perfect place! You get to see deer in the field in the back and it’s just a short drive into downtown. We took our dog and he absolutely loved the trials behind the house!

The owners were extremely accommodating and the place was so clean and everything was labeled for ease of use. The hosts even welcomed our group with a tray of treats that the kids absolutely loved. The property was beautiful with the wild flowers and mowed trails through the tall grasses.

Very clean home on a beautiful property. Lots of space to walk with our dog on the property with a woodsy back drop. Short drive to wineries, orchards, and downtown Bellaire. Great spot for a peaceful getaway with our family.

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy cottage in Central Lake! The home was spotless and so thoughtfully prepared—everything was clearly labeled, which made settling in a breeze. The charming fall décor added such a warm, inviting touch for our stay in October. It’s obvious that great care goes into maintaining this property. The property has a nice walking trail with great views. Loved reading about the history of the property too! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would love to return!

Could not have asked for a better home away from home. You can tell owner takes pride in making this place perfect for guests. House was clean, organized, and had everything you could need an more. If you’re looking for a peaceful get away close to plenty of things to do, then this is your place!

Wonderful home and the owners thought of everything. Property is amazing and pictures do not due it justice. Close to many attractions and necessities but private with beautiful views. The owners were very responsive and respected our privacy. This is one of our favorite properties!

The property is very nice! The place is peaceful and quiet. The house is very clean and welcoming. Even though we didn't meet the hosts in person (because they didn't want to disturb us in any way), we are convinced they are wonderful people, keeping in mind how clean and nicely decorated the house is! They left us a lot of treats and coffee. We cannot wait to come again!

Quaint two bedroom, only needed one. Older cottage recently updated but maintaining country charm. Out in the country but close enough to visit destinations from Fishtown to Petoskey and still enjoy relaxing in the evening. The trail behind the cottage was welcome excursion for my dog as well.

A Northern Michigan Gem

This was a beautiful place that was perfect for our family of four. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. It was exactly as described in the pictures and in the post. The location is excellent. It sits next to a wide open field where we watched the animals all week. We spent every night of our trip cooking outside and sitting by the fire. The hosts were excellent and very responsive. It was one of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed. Couldn’t recommend it more.
