« We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. Going around thanksgiving meant it was cozy in the cabin and the leaves were changing outside. Bill and Christine were wonderful hosts who were there to greet us and responsive if we needed them, but otherwise gave us space and privacy. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we could need for cooking (and the knives were sharp!) « It was a beautiful spot. A few helpful tips for the owner… print off a book for renters, (sent a pdf didn’t print it off ) some of the information was missing, didn’t know it was a gas bbq, where to find light switches for the rooms. had to search around for hand towels etc. »

« Our first off grid long weekend was absolutely beautiful! The cottage is cozy with fabulous amenities. The towels soft and fluffy, beds comfy, a wonderful greeting basket complete with a bottle of red! Even the fire pit was stocked! No problem with the fridge and we bought a camp stove toaster to make toast on the propane stove which we left for future guests. I used my hair dryer with no issue and never ran out of power. « My family's weekend stay at this cottage was wonderful. The property has everything you could ask for, and the children loved the outdoor playground, and getting out on the lake. It didn't hurt to wake up in the morning to that gorgeous view, either! Our only regret was that we hadn't booked a longer stay - would definitely return for another visit! »

« We really enjoyed our week stay at The Pine Cottage. I loved the cozy cottage which felt like home, and the seating areas around the property which were perfectly placed for a great view of the lake. The lake was clean with a sandy bottom and our dog enjoyed jumping off the dock. The lake was also warm but refreshing. « Everything was perfect! Well stocked, comfortable furniture, exceptionally comfortable beds and luxurious feeling bedding, super friendly hosts, clean, clean, clean, quiet and clean lake. We just couldn't ask for more. The garden was wonderful and plentiful even in October. And the view!!! There couldn't be a prettier view on a lake in Ontario. There were stairs to the lakefront but they were managable. No burning leg muscles even for us over 60's. I would not hesitate to book another vacation...

« This cottage is just as advertised. Well equipped, beautiful quiet location. We walked, kayaked, went into town to explore. We spent our down time on the screened in porch which was fantastic. Internet was not workjng when we arrived and a service call was placed. The outage was due to the satellite dish being moved, NO fault of the owner!! Carol was very responsive in expediting the repair. »
