Home Truths:
- There is no washer or dryer, but an iron and ironing board are provided.
- There is no air conditioning.
- This home allows pets for a fee. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval, there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- There is no washer and dryer in the unit, and it is not available for guest use within the condo complex. The nearest laundromat is Laundraland, located at 489 S Ocean Ave., Cayucos.

- Parking is located at the back of the building and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Street parking is also available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

Family Getaway

First time to Cayucos and we loved this bungalow. Super clean and comfy! Walk out the front door and hit shopping, coffee, dinner or the beach. Beds were very comfy too!

Getaway to the beach for a few days

Had a great time with hubby and the pups for a nice little escape from the summer heat. Cayucos is such a quaint little gem of a beach town, close enough but far enough away from SLO to get to enjoy the best of both worlds. Location was perfect and view of the ocean from the deck was excellent. Would highly recommend this rental as well as customer service was impeccable with immediate responses from staff-great experience. Will definitely stay here again.

Great Location

Property is in a great location. Centrally located to all the activities you want to do in the area. Minutes from the beach, restaurants, morro bay, hearst castle, elephant seals, fishing, kayaking, etc.... Good place if you don't want room service and other hotel amenities and don't mind the craftmanship imperfections. Balcony could have been cleaned a little better so that the view could have been enjoyed while sitting down on outdoor couches. Other than that a good place to stay. Next time i would probably upgrade to the third floor suites or just do a short term rental home.

First time visitor

I found this suite to be perfect for a single or a couple. I was impressed with the large bed and the wonderful size of the kitchen. However, I do have some concerns. My entire stay the front door to the building that faces the street was left open the entire time I was there. That made me feel uncomfortable. Termed in the description as a boutique hotel, I was less than impressed with the quality and quantity of kitchen supplies, especially the silverware and glasses. The plug-in air freshener was overwhelming. I had to remove it and then replace it when I left. Had I received exit instructions earlier it would have been beneficial. I actually got sick and left a day early. Therefore I did not strip the bed. I also noted that the floor is lifting in front of the dishwasher. Also, the toilet in the bathroom is extremely low for an adult. You did ask and so I’m giving you my thoughts. I did enjoy my stay, and I intend to come back.

Valentine’s Anniversary get-away

This was a perfect romantic get-away. The outside deck was wonderful for enjoying our morning coffee, as well as our evening wine. Being able to see and hear the ocean from our room was so relaxing. The location was perfect for visiting many of the local restaurants and we also appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was for us to prepare meals also. The BBQ area was perfect for grilling while we enjoyed the fire pit. Having beach access right across the street ensured we got our walk on the beach in every morning before enjoying all the fabulous food (and brown butter cookies 😊). We look forward to another visit very soon!

Location, Location, Location

Great location! Can walk to anything in town-no need to drive anywhere! The view from inside and on patio is fabulous- the round daybed was very nice for reading, napping or just looking at the ocean! The king bed was comfortable and it has a large and well appointed kitchen. There are bar stools at the counter but no chairs to sit in to watch TV and watching from bed was not that comfortable. The Bathroom is on the small size and toilet is low, but it has everything you need.

It is our favorite place

We love Cayucous. This is our favorite place to stay when we visit Cayucous. We love watching the sunset from the balcony. We did have trouble with the TV. But it was more trying to figure out how to sign into our devices.

Not what it used to be

Rates nearly doubled with new Vacasa property management. When you take into consideration the 'host' and 'service' fees, our daily rate for Bungalow B very nearly doubled from previous stays. Compound with quite dirty exterior balcony (very dirty patio floor, spider webs), semi-clean interior, bath towels that are super tired, tiny 'starter kit' Dove brand shampoo/conditioner, no coffee filters, and no obvious way to get replacement towels, we won't be staying again. We've spent about 6 vacations here over the years. No more sadly.

Excellent ocean view

Very clean and modern studio in a great location. There are views of the ocean from all 4 windows. The gas fireplace kept the room warm and cozy. The balcony is large with seating for 5-6. There is a nice courtyard with lots of comfortable patio seating,fire pit and lights. There is also an outdoor shower. We look forward to staying again!

Great location

Loved the location and would stay again. Unit was comfortable. Bring some kind of backup curtain for the room on the back of unit as security lights on hall are very bright and made it hard to sleep. Also, vacasa is very stingy on towels. We had 4 bath towels and 2 beach towels for a 5 night stay and we ended up with 6 people (in a 7 person unit) and I had to beg for more. One of the nights the front door lock quit working but Matt (the property manager) drove out late and fixed it which was so appreciated!

Perfect getaway

We came to California for a family wedding in LaGuna. I have always wanted to see the Hearst Castle and Cayucos was the perfect spot. We loved the location, and the view from the deck was amazing. Our favorite activity was sitting out there watching the ocean we don’t see that often since we are from Oklahoma. We loved the location and the apartment!! We would definitely stay again

Upscale beach living

The property was well kept, like a hotel, and the building is located right on the downtown main street, so it is an easy walk to everything. I loved that we could see the pier from the living room and one of the bedroom. Other than a few ants, everything was great!
