Guest Access:

Guests will have the space 100% available for their use including a jacuzzi that fits about 10 people sitting at the same time, barbecue area overlooking the natural scenery of the Carite Forest, a patio of approximately 1,200 sq. ft that surrounds the main residence, an area with a jacuzzi and bar to spend time with family and friends



It is a large place where you can share with your family and friends, each having their private spaces, both in the main house and the two continuous cabins, all on the same land.



The Neighborhood:

Guavate is a "neighborhood" of the Municipality of Cayey PR. which stands out for its "chinchorros" along route # 184, or "Ruta del Lechon" where you can enjoy traditional tender pork food, is a fun, safe, satisfying and palatable adventure.



Casa Heliconia is located just 7 minutes from exit #32 on Expressway #52 downtown. From the airport 25 minutes. Here you can enjoy extremely pleasant temperatures throughout the year and beautiful panoramic views.



During the course of the year, the temperature in Guavate generally ranges between 18°C and 29°C, rarely dropping below 17°C or rising above 30°C.



It is a beautiful place destined for lovers of mountain tourism, privacy among friends and family, enjoying nature and good fresh weather.



Due to its location, the entire area around the house and the route from the airport to the house, was not damaged by Hurricane Fiona. It is a safe area to travel and enjoy nature and the charm that characterizes the Guavate area.



Getting Around:

Guests must have a car to move around the neighborhood and getting in and out of the property.



Casa Heliconia is about 25 minutes from the SJU International Airport and only 7 minutes from the Expressway # 52.



Other Things to Note:

Because the house sits in a lush mountain area, humidity levels are high, and at times you may notice a strong humidity scent indoors.

We are actively working to minimize this — but it is part of the natural mountain environment. If you love authentic, unplugged, nature-forward experiences, you will appreciate this place. This retreat is perfect for you if you want:
