« Quin is a great base for traveling around the west of Ireland. The house is so clean and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood, with the occasional moo from the cows in the field next door. Tony and Maria are welcoming hosts, the scones Maria made for us were still warm when we arrived. Quin is a lovely village a very short drive away. Abbey Tavern is great for a pint or a meal. Highly recommended. »

« We had a wonderful stay at Peter's home. We had ten people and the house was more than sufficient to give everyone their own bedroom, bathroom and space. The views out the back decks was breathtaking giving you the real Ireland experience. Much of the area can be walked with no problems. Good food, good pubs lots of touristy things to do. It was a good location for us as many of the towns were easily in driving distance, plus they have excellent taxi , car service. Our host Peter was awesome and...

« We had a very pleasant week’s stay at this beautiful getaway property. It’s conveniently located to explore the surrounding areas of the country but also to sit back and relax around Ballina/Killaloe with a stunning view of the Shannon river. « The host was so accommodating. Our flight was actually canceled and he offered to pick up our friends that day and made them feel so welcome. The property is BETER than the pictures. You are in the center to all of Ireland. Beautiful views … we had sheep out side our door. The house was spotless and had everything you needed and then some. The grounds were also outstanding. « The Derg House was perfect for our stay with lots of space and wonderful views from the house and from the garden. We enjoyed all aspects of the house with seating areas for all types of activities. Around the fire pit in the evenings was an especially lovely time and we saw the Aurora Borealis which was very special. Definitely a prime location for trips and for seeing family in near-by Nenagh. The hosts who passed off the keys were an added treat: gave us the inside scoop to get away from more touristy attractions to more local ones, and made us feel like we were friends. »

« We are completely dissatisfied with VRBO. The property they rented us in Limerick, Ireland was occupied! People had been living in it for two months. We were left stranded with absolutely NO support by VRBO. We had to go to a hotel and spend a lot of money until we found a property with another company. This really ruined our vacation in Ireland! Now we just hope we can get our money back! »

« We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful home. The location was close to the center of town where we enjoyed various restaurants, pubs and coffee shops. Our host, Kenneth, was very accessible and checked in with us a few times to make sure we were comfortable and to answer any questions that we had about the home. « My wife and I came to vacation in Ireland with our 6 children. This was a lovely home that fit us perfectly. We stayed a week and traveled each day to another location to see the SW of the country. Caroline the property manager was very nice and very responsive. The only constructive feedback I would give is that it would be nice to have screens on the bedroom windows. This may not be applicable for the majority of the year, but it was very warm when we stayed, and with no A/C, we wanted to open...

« First, Caroline (on-site supervisor) couldn’t have been more kind and attentive. The unit was very basic accommodations, like a budget hotel. Specifically, beds are on the lower quality end, to the extent that one of them had to be modified with extra comforters.
