This charming 47 m² house is located in the heart of the village, just 50 metres from the refreshing river pool. You’ll also be close to regional attractions, leisure activities, and a variety of restaurants offering delicious local and international cuisine.

The open-plan space combines the living room and the kitchen. It features a comfortable sofa that converts into two single beds, a television, and a dining table.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious meals including essential cookware and cutlery. A washing machine is also available to you.

The bedroom features a comfortable double bed, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, and a TV with over 100 channels.

Step outside to your private terrace, complete with outdoor furniture, a barbecue, and a soothing water cascade, the perfect setting for al fresco dining and relaxing moments.

The bathroom offers all the essentials, along with a hair dryer and a towel dryer for your comfort.

Families are welcome, the house has space for a cot, a baby chair, and an extra bed if needed - no additional cost will be charged.

The home is pet-friendly, so your furry companions are welcome to join you. There is no extra cost for bringing animals.

Please note: access is via footpath and stairs. There is parking next to the "tanques" or "lavadouros" Gestosa Fundeira, just a few meters from the accommodation. The breakfast consists of 2 bread rolls, 2 croissants, 2 cakes, 2 juices, 1 milk, and 1 chocolate milk.

I live close by and am happy to help whenever I'm around, but when I'm not, there is a 24/7 on-call concierge service that can assist you any time of the day.

This area is surrounded by nature and tradition, with the historic Church of Gestosa Fundeira and the charming Chapel of Santo António da Neve, perfect places to experience the local heritage.

Just a few minutes away by car, you’ll find the famous Praia Fluvial das Rocas (2 km), featuring a wave pool, slides, and pedal boats, the largest leisure complex in the town, as well as Praia Fluvial do Corga (4 km).

To explore the mountains, there are scenic trails like the Rota da Gestosa Fundeira, part of the “Twelve Months, Twelve Hikes” program, which pass through valleys, viewpoints, the Veras Waterfall (3.5 km), streams, and traditional villages.

At the end of the day, enjoy the region’s delicious cuisine, with dishes such as chanfana, roast goat, and local sweets, served in traditional restaurants in Castanheira de Pêra and the surrounding area.

The best way to reach the property is by car.

It is located just a 45-minute drive from Coimbra.

This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before checking into the property.

Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.
